So far.. this place hasn't disappoint yet i.e. I have not left empty handed, only empty balls hahaha. Despite a few choosy ones, most are willing to play.

dont know why i think Joya onsen should be named as UFO onsen.... and i also wonder is Joya onsen giving discount to monks? Tends to see them around... one with a big blabby 6 months pregnant tummy and the other super slim... interesting onsen actually

All better watch out i think joya is trying to catch guys playing in the onsen... apparently there were people caught playing by the staff.. look around in the onsen you will see little notices around near the ice bath and the water dispenser

Was at Joya recently after quite a while and noticed the following changes.

- Keyless lockers .. are a welcome change though the upgraded changing room looks quite compact now 😊

- Self help towels counter is also convenient for users.  Provision of disposal combs .. good thing too 🤭

-  New shower heads installed but take a while to get use to how to operate 🤔
-  Previous LED strip lighting in the sauna replaced by string bulbs lighting.  Overall place appears brighter now .. though personally I think they should tone down the lightings a bit to enhance ambience esp during the day.🤔

-  Water ponding near the shower area .. potential safety hazard as floor there can be slippery! Loose handle bar at cold pool still not fixed too 🤨

Overall, the business owner and management appear to invest resources to update the place .. Reno at reception area noted.  More can still be done to attract customers, stay with competitor and justify slight increase in price .. I think. My personal opinion. 🫣

Im happy to see they are doing changes and renovations.. Means they not gna close down anytime soon right haha. They may be slow to fix certain things but at least can see effort. I also always give them feedback and to their abilities the staffs will try to fix it on the spot. Great effort. I also think the management has changed recently.

Part of the sauna seat is broken and I think need to be repaired.
