Last time it was exciting cos the top 10 category is pretty competitive. Nowadays with so many 超级红星, its like anyone can get the award easily. Quote

The only reason why HK actresses can go regional is because TVB dramas were popular during the 90s so all those HK actresses popular during TVB heyday can go act in China dramas because mainland Chinese audiences recognise them. Nothing to do with how good an actor is. Phyllis Quek had a lot of regional productions, but is not that great an actress. Quote

But I think the only reason why Jeseca, Felicia and Rebecca don't rally for votes is because they are considered A-Listers and doing so is beneath them. Even Ann also doesn't rally for votes much. If they keep rallying for votes, will make them seem desperate. Paige has been getting top 10 consistently for the past few years. She doesn't need to rally for votes. She will likely get in. Quote

Benvoda had a much older boyfriend, who was very rich. But his ex-bf was not working in Mediacorp. But had connections to Mediacorp management and that was probably how Benvoda got into MDC. Don't think it was a sugar daddy-baby relationship. Ben's ex probably paid for a lot of things since he was much richer while Ben was really a good-for-nothing with no real job before getting signed to MDC. But it wasn't a sugar daddy-baby relationship in the sense that Ben was not getting paid to be his bf. Quote
