Actually the opening musical number is really good. They should consider making a musical drama like glee or smash but I’m not sure if Sg audience are reception or not. 
 

An aviation theme drama is also way overdue. MDC should consider doing one since T4 is available for filming.

I think they tried to over-hype Chantelle to be the next Ah Jie.

But I guess it goes to show she is over-hyped, and the ones to watch should actually be Hong Ling and Bonnie Loo instead.

 

In terms of acting, looks and potential, I think Bonnie Loo is the best among the 3.

She can sing, she can act. She can be the next Fann Wong.

 

Xu Bin also must be damn sad he didn't get into top 10 (again).

Actually i think mediacorp never promote Chantelle as the next ah jie. Its just someone keep saying that in this BW forum.  During the red carpet, her mum Lin meijiao even directly say she is too young to win awards.

 

I agree Hong Ling and Bonnie Loo deserve it. Hong Ling acting is not bad. Finally Bonnie Loo given some recognition - not only can she act & sing, she can host too. Practically an all rounder.
