Exactly, just another fervent JA fan trying to stamp on RE, everyone knows who is the more talented actress, even with plump role as Little Nyonya and cannot even outshine JP role, we know how "good" JA acting is

 

JP's Best Actress win for Little Nyonya was an extremely unpopular one. Even if JA couldn't manage to win that year many people regarded Chen Liping and Fann Wong (who were also nominated that year) as more deserving than JP. Also classifying JP's role as lead in the first place was controversial as well.

Initially I thought CHW's death was unnecessary as well. However, after watching the whole drama, I felt that his death spurred on a lot of events. Some instances are:

 

1) Chen Liping and Guo Liang decided to reconcile as they both felt that life is too short and fragile.

2) Fei er was there to fetch his father out from prison and even gave him a hug because she was reminded of CHW's words

3) Zoe was also reminded of what CHW said about being too stingy with hugs and love.

MCS tried to generate interest in this show by summoning Desmond Shen back to rape Zoe Tay again (literally).

 

But all everyone can talk about is the unbeatable chemistry between 715 and JA and the love triangle with Rui En.

It's quite funny how another actress rejected the role of Zhou Wei Yun, causing Zoe (originally slated to play Yao Zhu Kang Li), to have to take over.

 

The production team tried to pair Zoe up with TPH, but TPH rejected the role of Piranha because it was weak.  Eventually it went to Chen Hanwei.

 

Of course the most blessed actress must be Ou Xuan, she got the meatiest role in the whole production and she got to work with her long-time screen partner, 715.

This is so not true.  The only time CHW talked about Rui En was in 2008 on an online video interview.  That was when xin.sg was going around interviewing stars on how they felt about Rui En's omission for Best Actress for 破茧而出.  He just said not to be discouraged and to try again next year.  

 

Never did he praise her for her acting skills and professionalism on sets - he hadn't even worked with her yet!

 

It's quite obvious CHW was referring to Rui En, who else can it be?  Can't possibly be Joanne Peh either cos they worked well together on A Song to Remember, and Joanne Peh is known to have high EQ, she won't be rude or show her black face.
