What's the most effective medication for mouth ulcers?

I believe Oracort must be prescribed. It cannot be purchased over a counter until there is a medical paper for it 

Not true about it being prescribed. I have been getting it over the counter without a prescription

Most effective is prevention. If your mouth ulcer was caused by biting the inside of your mouth, rinse your wound with mouthwash at frequent intervals. Keep the wound sanitised, not even water should touch it. Depending on where the wound is, it will usually heal fast and you can avert having an ulcer.

 

Otherwise you can get those mouth plasters from Japan where the ulcer can heal within 2-3 days.

Oracote get from the pharmacy at the counter very effective when u apply you feel numb and you dont feel the pain even you eat spicy food. Is a small tube but works wonder.
