Steve5380 Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 I second IkuTube in wishing everyone a happy celebration of this Hindu event. My place of residence, Texas USA, has also recognized Diwali as a state holiday. https://www.livemint.com/news/us-news/diwali-2024-in-us-gains-official-holiday-status-in-pennsylvania-texas-new-york-11730179989037.html For us this coincides this year with the celebration of Halloween, on the fixed date of October 31. So the American kids will enjoy the victory of light in their spirits while their taste buds enjoy the candy they gathered around the neighborhood. This celebration comes to us just a few days before we in the US need a victory of pure light of wisdom and goodness over the darkness of fascism, totalitarism and evil, which will be decided on November the 5th. Please wish us luck! Quote
