I’ve heard nice things about the opera theatre, seemed like it’s visited mainly for its elaborate architectural facade? Surely if you want to see the best of the best, then you have no alternative - you have to visit a whole mixed bag of cities. You are correct. The Barcelona Picasso Museum does not have his best work. For that you must visit at least Madrid and Paris. But if you can afford just one city and Picasso is not your main reason for visiting, it gives at least an idea of some his work. The same is true of the opera house. I actually think you are mistaken about the Teatro Liceo, the Opera House. To me the facade is nothing special because it just looks like part of an ordinary street frontage that also includes shops and apartments. In fact, the interior is nothing special either, especially if you have seen the opera houses in Milan, Budapest or London. But once again, it's impossible to expect the best in every city. I actually think you may be meaning the concert hall which I mentioned earlier, the Palau de la Musica Catalonia concert hall. Both the exterior architecture and the interior are totally unique and quite stunning. I knew nothing about it before my first visit and only stumbled on it when I was wandering around the city. Isn't that part of the joy of travelling? Quote

Isn't that part of the joy of travelling? Yes i was talking about that. Actually you can find many such nicer interiors in many museums in Bologna. One of them is a medieval university surgery threatre. Just use google maps to discover them. Was that baroque?? The facade was elaborate but i thought garnia theatre was better? You were right, i was actually in a rush for time so had to make sure the the sights i chose were “the best” and worthwhile. Wandering around a new city that is steeped in history and culture is indeed the best part of travelling. I stumbled upon Placa del Rei wondering around gothic quarter, where Christopher Columbus was widely believed to had been greeted by King Ferdinand of Spain and his Queen on the steps after he returned from his voyage of discovering the Americas. Imagining what went on that day in that public square hundreds of year ago, I must have felt just like Christopher Columbus after discovering America that night. Lol Quote

Actually all the street hustlers were wearing caps in Paris, they might actually think you’re one of them and leave you alone? Lol Yes i tried to dress like a Parisien. Black leather moto jacket, black cropped slacks, black sneakers, fancy socks, canvas tote bag. Minding my own business and looking self reliant and assured while shopping on my own. Random locals started chatting me up in French without me realising they were actually talking to me - as opposed to their friends - and were genuinely surprised and wondering why i was quite rude to not respond, as i later found out from one of them in English. Lol I was in Les Marais, an older gentrified “bobo” neighbourhood with a sizeable Chinese community round the corner. I have successfully blended in unknowingly! Quote

But sometimes you have some shared great memories if you travel with others. Even traveling with a friend must not mean, that you have to accommodate, you must not do all things together all the time. For me I dislike walking along shopping malls which locals here favour a lot. That's why nowadays I mostly don't join my Singaporean friends to BKK, because I m tired after walking for days at those cheap cheap buy 5 get 1 free Andrew Christian underwear. I once even shared the same room with a gay friend and we just gave ourselves some "out time" to taste some local flavours. if you are on good terms, then why not. It's just a matter to talk and plan beforehand. Most single guy would understand and what's the deal to go to a coffee beans for 2 hours and just do some chit chat on your phone or you go for a professional massage during the same time. By traveling alone on times you miss out on some interesting items and some laughs. it;'s not so entertaining to slurp your own soup all the time. Quote

zzzzzzzz Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 Traveled alone most of the time because of the need to lock in cheaper airfares or hotels. Usually friends cannot firm up the plans. Do enjoy the space by myself, like i could sleep in late. Or start early to beat the queue and head back for a nap, or simply head to the beach and relax. Of course the trade off is lack of companion, human interaction and higher expenses but i do enjoy the space. The challenge remains that it is really difficult to have space when you travel with your friends. It is like constant 24/7 interaction for 2 weeks and that could very challenging. Though i do welcone friends joining me part of the trip, like 3 to 4 days, but not the whole trip. Finding a good independent travel companion is tough. Managing expectation is a key. swimlife 1 Quote

It is doubtful that the guy who enters your room at night is one you would like to let in. Unless you stay at the right place. And this is not a 5 star hotel. It happened to me one night while staying at the Babylon Barracks in Bangkok. I had inadvertently left my room door unlocked, and at some time during the night a Thai boy in heat walked in. A perfect gift. He stripped naked, I was naked already, and we had a good time in bed. Thereafter we went to the communal bathroom on that floor and showered together. There, a young guy came in, saw us showering and joined in. He invited us to his room where he had all the anal sex paraphernalia and we took turns fucking the Thai boy. Then the boy and I returned to my room, where the Thai boy got dressed, kissed and left. This is the ONLY place where I would leave my door unlocked, and not too often . In the early 80s, I travelled on my own to Vancouver and stayed at the YMCA on Burrard. Lots of action there and the communal open shower is the perfect place if you are either a voyeur or exhibitionist. The nude swimming pool is also a fantastic place to hook up with straight married men who come to do a few laps and then are almost always in a hurry to get home for dinner but ever so willing to receive a quickie blowjob. nate42 Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 Travelling alone has its advantageous. I have been doing it for many years. Not on long trips though. Usually a couple nights in Desaru or Bintan. Now that I am married, it is even more precious for me to get away for a couple days alone at least once a year. Sleep as late as I want, drink a couple bottles of wine or 12-pack beer, get a little drunk without the kids around. Prefer my own room when I travel for business, and I will extend a night. I get to do lots that I wouldn't do at home. Haven't travelled with a "friend" before. It is an intriguing thought though. luvhandle 1 Quote

A decent indicate number is 12 pieces comprising of boxers and briefs of different size and fabric. At least a few pieces should have a fastener or string around the waist to double safety. If you were raped, try your best to rub one of these underwear against the rapist's groin or cock. Best is to get some cum on the fabric as evidence. Good luck. Quote
