juicyass Posted yesterday at 05:09 AM Posted yesterday at 05:09 AM (edited) Sex education in school doesn't do much help. The school is either too taboo to explain further or simply explain what sex is about to the students. Any further explanation about sex topic such as safe sex, prep, contraception, chem sex, etc are limited. I still remember our class in highschool attended a sex edu session by our own teacher counselor, she was like can't wait to get it over with. The statistical data for the past 2 years shows that the age group between 18~28 y.o is the most prevalent to STD/HIV. If they were to break it down further into racial profile, the malays stand the highest amongst the other races. Even some NGO volunteer also mentions that those who get tested pos for HIV are those uni boys who studied in local university. For real, a single click across the search bar, you can find tons of safe sex information, especially the younger generation are tech savvy and obsessed with social media. But why do they have no sense of safety precaution partaking in sexual activity? Could social media influence such X (twitter) be the stem of the issue where amateur porns are easily shared online? Referring to Msia here。 Edited yesterday at 05:50 AM by juicyass Quote

cbm Posted yesterday at 08:15 AM Posted yesterday at 08:15 AM Where are those stats from? Is it really more younger people getting infections or that younger people go for testing more regularly, which is why their infections are detected? Quote
