Confirmed it is Singnet that disallows. Because when I was with Singnet and I were unable to access Xtube. Just connect to Starhub 5 mins ago and Xtube is working well................yahoo..........

I just got back from HKG ... was at Towel club and could not get access using the internet station over there as well!!! Sianzzzz.....

Is more of the service provider "Singtel" rather than the site itself. I realise that be it whether am I on the mobile broadband, or Mio I can't access it too. But if I use the mobile broadband from Starhub, I do not have any issue.

can flip page to page but after vid had been selected then have log into xtube & then after click on "continue to video" it took forever to load .

actually I am also experiencing the same problem. Can see the screen shots but takes long long time to load. most of the time can only see 1 clip the rest hang.. Don't know why. Only happen 2-3 weeks ago.

Have you tried Google Public DNS? Google for instructions.

I'm using M1 and I think this problem only persists for M1 and Singtel, Starhub will not have any problem loading xtube. I have tried this method suggested http\\play0.... and it opened the pages. But when you want to access the videos, the same problem again.

Can anyone help us using M1? Like the method suggested by scorpiox81 but for M1, not singtel?

then 'connection settings' will pop out.

tick 'manual proxy configuration'

type proxy.singnet.com.sg in the text box and 8080 under the text box beside 'port'

then tick the check box beside 'use this proxy server for all protocols'

singtel must have blocked xtube. I have both sintel and m1 broadband. M1 has no problem and the connection is fast.

no. Singtel does not block xtube. after setting the proxy, i can browse and watch xtube videos easily. it may be slow when u watch the vids but it's otherwise for some vids.

A guide below for those who need help.

For WINDOWS users(I'm using windows 7 as an example btw)

1.Go to control panel>Network and Sharing Center>Change Adaptor Settings

Please note that for me I'm using a wireless connection but most ppl by default use "Local Area Connection 1".

2.So depending on which you are using, just 'right click' the "Connection">'Select' "Properties".

Next, 'Double Click' on "Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)".

3. 'Click' on "Use the following DNS server addresses:" Please take a screenshot or copy down your setting b4 u change them.

4. 'Type' in the "Preferred DNS server" and the "Alternate DNS server". Read this link on what to type into your DNS settings.

5. This is how mine looks like and it works for me. IT MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU, by I hope this helps =)

Hi changing your DNS to the google public DNS did not help you?? Are you sure u changed it correctly?

Pls give me more info. (Your pc's operating system and the internet browser that you use would be helpful.)
