The saddest thing n the harshest is in the strs or gay world we choose ppl n other ppl choose us for any paticular reason. i thought love is enough but NO, only just few days ago i asked a guy i loved so much last two years why is it that i still dont have that feeling i have for him n not from him n he replied as a matter of fact he told me that its becos i look too much younger than my age.although i am 53 yrs he felt that i am not uncle enough n not even look 53 enough thats why though he felt my love he just cant reciporate the same way.so you see its just the way real lives are.Sad but its true.

I think it is human nature to be attracted and like nice looking things, no matter whether it is towards a human or things. For me, i cannot deny tht i dun like guy who is a cutie with nice bod. My ex used to be slim and somewhat lean. After we were together about a year, he decided to start exercising to become a "G-men". After months of religious workout, the results were good. He starts to get lots of attentions from Facebook and Fridae, etc. From someone whom has a lack of confident, he became someone whom has an overflowing of confident.

Case 2

There was this guy I know from Fridae, whom I thought was really cool and good looking. He is one of those guys who has good looks and who was muscular and fit. Then he sort of disappeared from view and the next time I saw him, he had becomes a chub. When I asked him, why he does that, he says he never liked to be muscular, he always likes chubs and be chub. Also he says it's too hard just to maintain that muscular look all the time, he chose to be himself and be happy.

Well, if you are the type whom are not confident about your appearance, etc. Going to gym and getting yourself fit will help you get the attention and feeds ur ego. But do take note that, with good looks, comes great responsibility too, because some ppl will treat u like a piece of meat and you won't be sure whether they like you for who you are or they only like you because you are a good fxxk. If you don't have the maturity to handle who you've become, you will still be an unhappy guy with a muscular and fit body.

I knew a lean tone army boy many many years ago. We dated for awhile but never hit it off. Years later, when I saw him again, my jaw dropped, he has become a muscular hunk and even appears on the papers. The next time I got a call from him, he had attempted to harm himself because he had fallen out of love. And it was a few failed relationships and many years later that he had grown to be more mature and now, he is happily attached with a stable job.

So, even muscular and fit guys gets rejected too. So don't think for a moment that being muscular and fit means you have made it. Being muscular and fit it's just the hardware. Without a good software; your maturity; attitude, etc. you can still be single and alone, etc.

I totally agreed with this! :thumb: The primary reason for sweating in the gym should be for good health, then the better physical appearance kicks in slowly (too slow sometimes....cos it takes time and hardwork to get a good body)....which is a bonus. Once you have made exercise / working out part of your daily life, you will soon see better health and better choices.....when cruising or being cruised.

I very much agree that the media has been hyping up the "muscular and fit" as the ideal body shape. Me, I like almost everything, except obese and skinny. Love it when a guy has both muscles and fats. Love it even more when it is a stocky bearish build, and that certainly does not fit into the "muscular and fit" category.

However, a good face does go a long way. Even if someone is in their early 60s, if they still look good, they simply look good.

I have seen some photos of my of lover's father, and he looks good back in his 60s. He is in his 70s now, and still not too bad.
