Had massage by uncle Kim. Surprised that his strokes are quite strong even though he's relatively old already. The coffeeshop opposite his shop is quite noisy but privacy was manageable. He had a friend who dropped by the shop towards the end of my massage, and uncle Kim was chatting with him while giving massage. Uncle Kim is a good multi tasker. 😅😆

Tried this massage place Lixin Beauty Wellness along the row of shop houses next to the Buddha Tooth Temple(Sago St). Requested for a male therapist and was assigned the only male therapist, Keong. Proper massage with no extras, with firm pressure (strength can be adjusted to your liking) and techniques that definitely unknot all your aches away. Massage done in a room with door that has a frosted window. Disposable underwear provided which will be pulled down fully while getting the butt massaged(my favourite part). He will also massage the front; legs and chest/stomach unlike some places. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth every minute.

Went there yesterday, indeed a proper massage. I took the 1hr shiatsu massage but I suspect I was given lymphatic detox instead 😂 and TBH, quite painful but good experience overall.
 

Sadly they increased the price by quite a lot. I didn’t manage to take photo of the price list but 60mins is now $68, and 90mins is $108

Masseur is tall and stocky. Techniques used are a mix of Swedish, acupressure and sports massage. He has strong hands, and managed to untangle all the hard knots I accumulated.
