I totally agree with wat the aforementioned person has stated. Wat's the point of renaming n doing some simple renovation work, but the service still sucks big time?

I too have been a 'victim' in these circumstances. I jus want the KJ or whoever is related to Same reading this to take note, there are customers who notices how long it takes for the song to reach them n whether or not their table has been skipped. Dun treat your customers like fools. We are paying customers n we have every fxxking right to have prompt service. And tat includes the waiting time for the songs.

To the management n staff reading this, take a leaf out of Taiwan's karaoke pub culture. To them every customer is equal, fren or not. Their pubs may not be as clean or modern in looks but they sure make up for it with their service. N tat is something which Same lacks poorly. U may think tat if i m not happy with the plc then i shouldn't even bother to patronise Same. But remember, i m not the only one who have had bad experiences in Same. Bad publicity does no good to your business. Remember the keyword: S-E-R-V-I-C-E.

To the fat bastard KJ, dun practise double standards whether the person is your fren or not. Every customer that patronises the place is equal. And if u cant do it then dun even bother to work there. And pls, when someone's song is on, dun interrupt or make stupid comments. Your voice is irritating enough as it is already.

I simply don't visit anymore.... for more than 2 years already.

Why should I pay and get angry over the service. I pay to enjoy the service, the drinks and company and I will refuse the poor service to spoil my drinking.

to fair critic: In a business point of view, your ideas will not be taken into consideration. No offence. You only think for yourself. Firstly, take a look at OSO and SAME. Most customers who willing to spend are mainly those main stream. Chubs dont spend that much. A glass of tea / fruit juice last throughout the night? Imagine if you are the boss, how you feel whereby everybody just drink tea and sit there for the whole nite? Although its quite demorale for entertaining female or lesbo customers in gay pubs, but in business, as long they can make money, why not?

Holding karaoke contest again? Oh pls... in the end, only those regulars or people who knows the judges will enter the finals. The good ones will kena kick out during the 2nd or semi finals. Why put on these faces? And not to say holding such contest might not pull crowds too. End up losing money... 1 good example from oso bar, they have what singing night. Asking a few people go on stage and sing. Instead of pulling crowds, people keep quiet and watch " a clown" go on stage and sing. Com'on, people are there to sing and scream, relax... not listen music. If you want, go to Ming Ge cafe instead.

Lastly, dont get others to invole. Thomas is friendly over there but that doesnt mean he ought to do PR for SAME. I know he is better than you, and i truly understand how you feel. No matter how many times you willing to go for the extreme make over or rearrange your face, you wouldnt be like Thomas. Accept the fact... we are talking about SAME way of running business... not a brothel for you to choose and pick.

All are right! The KJ really skips songs and play for those that he knows and likes. So, if u are keen to sing for ppl to listen, choose another pub. SAME is not the place for u because u might be singing only one song thru out the night....choose your song wisely....as u dun have second chance to impress your singing to a particular guy u might be looking at that night. And be prepared to be interrupted in between your song by his loud voice and comments on another person he knows or likes....as he is flirting with them...while using your song interval time during, before or after your chorus. Ermm....anyone like that to happen? Dun worried....u might not be so lucky....hahaha....anyway, the boss seems to like the way he entertains as he sings duet with this KJ at times too. Abit of letdown, because the boss looks great but image spoilt by this KJ. Hey..the boss of SAME....dun be like that, can?

(1) The Jap guy speaks rather good English. Just go up to him and strike a conversation. He used to go often on weekends but of late, cut down due to work I guess. He just got back from overseas work assignments.

(2) Thomas is there on alternate weekdays selectively. He's rather friendly. Just walk to him and introduce yourself for a start.

(3) Thomas's friend is new to me. Despite having seen him a few times, I barely know him. But I observed that he kinda enjoy watching me play the word game (similar to Scrabble).

(4) Lastly, if you don't identify yourself, no one would be able to help you or introduce you to any of these guys. I should be there tonight... (I'm Rayner.)
