I really have some questions after I visit last weekend.

1. I bit confuse with the package that offer recently, is it the package always come along with body scrub? Got others option can we choose beside body scrub? Or can we only take body scrub without massage?

2. I bit surprise that your center have upgrade the body scrub, is totally difference as previous. Not done it at bathroom by masseur. Before that I bit resistance when offer by reception, because he didn't tell me is totally diff as previous but he just push me to take. Firstly I bit not happy, but since he push so I took. But after I took, I really know I really get the wonderful treatment which done by Vic. He is really amazing for doing the part of body scrub which I have. I really should give him a compliment. His skill really amazing. The body scrub I have is combine with great face and body massage. I should say this is really a great job. Is it Vic is your permanent staff? Or he is just the temporary staff same as others? He will work till when?

3. Is it Vic is only in charge for body scrub? Have him do the massage?

4. I choose a masseur from china that day but I can't recall his name, he is quite good in massage, but unfortunately he keep pushing for extra service, this make me a bit unhappy.

5. I think you should improve the pillow, I found the pillow bit smelly. And the bathroom door unable to close. No one fix it?!

6. What promotions you have recently?

Another batch of new masseurs have joined us, two local Chinese quite cute looking and with good service attitude, Boy and Michael. Two new Pakistanis with very impressive tools, pure top only, three new Vietnamese masseurs, Ryan, Johnny and Tommy, two new masseurs from China, and one Indo masseur.

Having read and visited the established spas in JB, I decided to be bold and adventurous to try out the newly opened "Mensquare" located in Plaza Mentari and would like to share my reviews here:

Location: From JB custom, tell the taxi driver Sun City, it takes you less than 10mins to reach the place and easy to locate. Sun Plaza looks newly renovated with nice shop houses on ground floor with a hair salon and a few nice cafes with modern deco. Compared to other spas, this place definitely looks more decent and safe and nice place to have a cup of coffee and ice creams with friends after the massage to chill out.

Place: Mensquare is located at level 3. Upon entering the spa, I was greeted by the captain who is warm and pleasant offering me tea at a nice cosy corner. Next to the waiting corner, is the staff room with transparent glass windows where customers can view the therapists, something like BKK fish tank concept which is a plus point in case what you see in album (iPad) looks different from actual persons. Captain Sam takes the patience to explain the package and the various promos including the stop over package which is very good idea for those who decide to spend a night relaxing in spa like hotel environment.

After choosing the 90 mins package, I was led to the rooms on the same floor and I was amazed that the place is clean and spacious. Counted about 12 rooms most with shower facilities and the VIP rooms comes with queen size beds and TV as well. Deco is nice and ambience is good as it is new. Bedsheets are fragrant and nice designs.

Massage: The massage who attended to me was a local and he was attentive in asking me if the air con is ok as he was afraid that it will be too cold as air cond is new. Next, he showered me in the room and toilet is definitely clean. Overall massage is good and very relaxing. Through the short conversations with the therapist, I was told that the boss intends to only hire locals in Malaysians and as I write, I noted that they have uploaded a few therapists and more coming in the next couple of weeks. He told me about the overnight package and I find it interesting given the cleanliness and spacious room, I would be keen to explore in my next visit. All rooms comes with locked doors so should be safe in personal belongings.

After the session, the therapist is kind to send me down to wait for a cab. Since it is my first visit, I offered to buy him a drink at the ground floor cafe and the cafe is cosy and nice place to chit chat.

Overall, I find "Mensquare" worth a visit and a competition to the local scene and will definitely go back again..

I visited mensquare last night, I agreed with Blurnblur, it is worth a visit.. The place is spacious, clean and nice deco. There are plenty of packing lots at basement carpark, very convenient if you are driving.

So...yesterday I went to HTspa and here's a little review.

 

Reception

Very friendly and welcoming captain (Patrick). Met for the 1st time and is like friends for a long time. He is very attentive in helping me select the masseur and kind of massage. Tell him what you are looking for and he will suggest a suitable masseur for you. Still enjoy the tea and foot bath as part of the welcoming ritual.

 

Environment

Well maintained and clean. I thought a curtain covering the relaxing area for the masseurs would give them some privacy since they only present themselves at the customers' request.

 

Massage

Masseur: Tony from Vietnam

He is very skillful in massage. Strong pressure and good techniques. Always asking if its ok and if I felt pain. I like it strong so no problem at all! He is very sensual throughout the massage. He did asked if I wanted s*x and I said no and he continued a whole series of stretching and muscle pulling which totally relieved my body. I thought it would be end of story when I said no to extra services but he proved me wrong. If you want a very good massage, choose him. He's not just rubbing oil on you, he really does the work.

 

Misc.

I think its worth commenting that small little things like calling a taxi for you, bringing you tea after massage and having bonus reward on frequent visits does make it a more enjoyable experience overall. Good job!

Environment

Got upgraded to the VIP room. Had to change room halfway due to some technical issue (aircon leaking) but the overall experience was not affected.

 

Massage

Masseur: Blue (local chinese

He is very skillful in massage. Strong pressure and good techniques. Body to body massage is really body to body..he literally used every part of his body to massage every part of my body... If you want a good massage, please look for him. Thanks to him and of course Tony, I am recovering from my jet lag..He is very polite.

 

Misc.

So I guess you have to visit HTSpa to experience all these. It is definitely a good place to visit. Of course, we all have different expectations, just remember: experience comes with time and that means age. It is difficult to find an extremely young boy who is extremely good in massage. Then again, I am not saying that old boy equate to excellent massage skills. You have to tell Marcus or Patrick your desire and they will recommend accordingly.
