As a mature Caucasian who recently commenced a long term assignment in Dalian I am keen to gain information about hotel coffee shops and lobby lounges where one might make the acquaintance of smart business travelers visiting this city. Useful constructive comments from other travelers would be appreciated. They may enable me to pass along a few hot tips to others planning a future visit to Dalian.Incidentally, the local folk are very pleasant and the food and drink excellent and reasonably priced.p.s. I am clearly not interested in "rough trade" venues or exploring outdoor cruising spots in a city where the temperature hovers around freezing all day at this time of year.
