China Airline Plane Explodes In Southern Japan

China airline have another serious accident. The plane exploded when entering the taxi bay. Lucky everyone escaped.

I remembered having to take China Airline back home from oversea exercise during army. It was a day after a China Airline plane had a very serious accident

But I read that the plane is only few years old. And regularly maintained. Anyway the only China airline I took was Eastern China Air to Hainan- not very impressed with it.

saw taiwan news tat the pilot ( ) and crews were give heroes' welcum back home, much to the "disgust" of the japanese! it's as tho such airplane mishap is not 2b unexpected (given their track records); difference tis time is no lifes were lost!

As long as there are no fatalities, that is the important thing.

But I thought that the US$100 Ang Bao was a bit insincere on the part of China Airlines.

China airlines belongs to taiwan, not china. Air china belongs to china though.

Anyway, i've never taken any chinese or taiwanese airlines. And i dun wanna ever take any.

A loose bolt that pierced through the fuel tank is likely to be the cause of the explosion, so said the probe team. Thank God it decided to get loose before hitting the air.

as in the next takeoff? Pardon my not knowing the whole incident except the possible reason for the explosion. Either way, it's better it happened on land than in air, which was my point.

china airlines 006 from taipei to LA met a close encounter in air but managed to land safely with badly dmged body.

singapore airlines 006 from taipei to LA didnt make it....

coincidentally, both are named 006 and from taipei to LA

acc to a talk show host. this is the best period to use china airlines.

as before they will buck up on their maintenance like previously.

after about 4 year cycle, this poor maintenance record will continue.

was reading a commentary from Taiwan which it blasted the TW gahmen using China Airlines as a barter trade to gain US support. Hence CA will buy only from and any aircraft sold by Boeing.

the commentary ended by saying in jest that while the current gahmen is so desperate to push to change all namesake that have the word "China" in TW to "Taiwan" they never bother to change CA as the world would have think that CA belongs to China...

That is so true. I did not realised that they never changed the name of China Airlines. Instead they spent millions changing the name of roads, parks, etc...
