do they have time limit for you after enter the exhibition?

Nope there isn't time limit and you can stay till the exhibition closes. But there is no food store inside the exhibition hall.

However, when I exit, it seems that you can request for "re-entry" stamp.

Have fun!

anyone here with info on short term gym membership (about 2 mths) at tokyo, near asakusa or kuramae area? been googling but couldn’t seem to find the right gym. there’s Anytime Fitness there but they are not responding to my email enquiry either.

Anytime Fitness likely doesn't do any short term contracts, so it's going to be at least more than a year for their contracts. I assume you sent your enquiry in Japanese? I went to AF Japan a couple of times during my vacation and English is not their strong point. (Even the instructions around the gym are purely in Japanese.)

You might want to try Gold's Gym? They have a branch at Yurakucho.

Try Tipness, google for it. I dont know if they have a gym near the places you mentioned.

I went to their Rappongi branch when I was there, for 5 months - they might or might not entertain short term memberships, depending on how large their current membership is. Different branches will have different numbers of members.

Hope this helps.

Wondering if anyone ever went to Osaka's Hokuoukan sauna?

Yes I have been there. What would you like to know?

It's one of the best Sauna I've been to in Japan. In my opinion, better than 24kk. They have a zone just for those under a certain age (30 or 40), I can't remember. The people in that zone are significantly better quality, but are more picky too.

I've seen really cute ones. Lots of locals. Some from other parts such as China, Southeast Asia and HK.

emailed them in English. that could likely be the reason for no answer. thanks for the recommendation! :)

Just asking. I also went there for a while last time. Wanna know what are the different experience others had in there.

Btw are there cheap accommodation options for solo travelers in osaka for a few nights? Recommendations maybe?

Halloween is alwys 31 Oct, but event's date may slightly be adjusted to fit  to the crowd

It is a commercialised event in Jp , just like christmas

Many will go there and view (@ shibuya), those usu those interested will dress up w masks etc

but the crowd is just too pack, i will never step in again (hard to move about)

Universal Studios Japan has Halloween Horror Nights (Similar to what we have in Singapore)

Hokuoukan is a gay sauna in Osaka.

Halloween Horror Nights in USJ works differently from USS. The Halloween events are open all day and there is no separate admission ticket for the event. The park closes at 10pm so that all guests can take the public transport home.

Nonetheless! I think I'll still be staying around Universal City as I want to wake up early and go to the park early to avoid the queues hehe ^^

hmmmmmmmmmmm

if a halloween doesnt begin from evening, then it is not really a halloween event

it is just like any other special event at the day time

the “zombies” probably come out at night. and in the daytime, everyone will just be freaked out by the queue to the rides. hahahahahaha

Anyone has got any idea who these escorts are? I would assume that they are all japanese porno actors for Coat studio, but it is hard to identify who's who since they blur the faces and all :( can't decide who to try without a clear facepic.

First time to japan, what is the best way to travel from Osaka to Tokyo (and work best economically)?

Itinerary is:

5-9 Osaka/Kyoto/Nara (Using Kansai Wide Area Pass)

10-11 Hiroshima/Osaka (Using JR Nationwide Pass)

11-16 Tokyo (Using JR Nationwide Pass)

Kansai Pass is 5 days, Nationwide Pass is 7 days

Will this works?

looks gd, but usu a pass is for a long period eg for many shinkansens

but if in tokyo u r spending time shopping/cafe/saunas/massage u wont be using much transport

u sure u made your calculation?
