There are many questionable treatments for conditions that people would do anything and pay anything to get resolved. Look at the cosmetic industry and so many frauds with products that eliminate sagging skin. And considering the anatomy of the penis, with a conduit for the urine and sex fluids plus the ability to get big and hard by entrapping blood in its corpora cavernosa. Why would applying a vibrator to this organ help anything? You can also have a vibrator applied to your sagging skin and puffy eyelids, and you will end looking the same. For many years vibrators or shocking devices have been developed of many types, for many conditions, with frequencies from low audio to the upper audible and beyond. The only real benefit of this "vibrations" is the use of high ultrasound frequencies for imaging. An old car can be running great. Of course, this takes care. Very old people can have hearts, lungs, livers, kidneys that keep performing satisfactorily. Same applies to penises. Urinary problems usually come from prostate, bladder, kidneys. Erection problems usually come from reduced circulation, nerve and hormonal causes. You flatter me with your observation about my good health at my age. But I insist that I am not an isolated case but many we care to age naturally. I don't want to be unfairly critical, so I will explain my controversial brutally honest opinion about "penile rejuvenation". My opinion was precipitated by the word rejuvenation, which clearly implies reversing age. Most problems of penile function have preventable causes that take long time to develop, therefore lead to the false idea of aging. The tag "rejuvenation" is seldom used in serious medicine, if at all. Cardiologists don't advertise "heart rejuvenation", for example. The term is more usual in alternative medicine, and it brings to mind the idea of bullshit suspicious quackery, controversy. I have now learned that the term rejuvenation has been widely adopted in your area of expertise, and you are not responsible for it. So I apologize if my opinion could have become personal. I applaud your approach of giving some priority to changes in lifestyle. From what you wrote, ESWT is just one of your treatment options, and studies indicate that it can give short term improvements. And studies are being done to better understand how it works. Unfortunately I have plenty of experience with beloved ones with problems of calcification in vessels, fibrosis, adhesions after surgery, scarring of tissues in vital organs.
