The better looking ones are accustomed to not having to put in as much effort and can have a good enough time just waiting to be (and getting) served. The average looking ones don’t get much action until and unless they are proactive and skilled since they cannot bank on their looks.

Just curious, what’s the draw of these non-gay onsens (where one cannot be sure if the other party is even gay) over the gay saunas (where there is certainty of the clientele and fun to be had)? Asking as I have not tried before and am wondering if it might be worth a visit when in KL.
