One good compromise for relationships without anal sex is to have some openness.   The partner who has urges to be fucked should be free to find cocks outside the relationship,  while his heart is with his partner who dislikes anal sex.  The only additional task is to have the partner who likes to bottom frequently tested for STDs.  Although without anal sex there are less chances to pass on something to his partner.
