As what radiusulnar mentioned, i think there is no other scenario. Don't even think the location is real lah. The 7-11 nearby is for sure. They would have already find out where is a convenient spot to tell you, so as to make you think its 'on the way'.

I encountered asking me to buy some music card because he is afraid we are too loud and his neighbours can hear us. What a ridiculous request when we can just play music from phones, even can bluetooth using portable speakers, why need cards. I wondered will there be really someone getting scammed.

Might even be local teens trying to get credits to play games. The 'nephew' might be the actual person running the scam.

 

There was this case last year:

 

2 teens posed as minors on dating sites to lure ‘paedophiles’ and extort money from them

Isn’t that the same scam that they used for the middle age uncle? Some PYT ask uncle to buy some cards pr voucher then give them the code. Wanna spend money might as well go find some legal prostitute. 
 

as for blocking after sharing photos. I actually prefer that than wasting time. If you don’t have a profile pic that’s is to be expected more often then not.

If you have sufficient self confidence, you don't need to block any people. I will reply by saying, not keen or no interest, those still not giving up are just 0.01%.

 

Most scammers on the other hand don't block but most probably get suspended or account deleted by the app provider.

Any one have been scam when u order from tik tok platform. I order this move on product but I knew there is a QR code where u can scan to see if it is genuine or fake product.In the conversation I  thought the seller will deliver in person to my door step it cost $500 but turn out they send Ninja courier service to my door step and ask me to pay upfront first before I can open the box to verify.If the blind box u open is tissue paper inside instead of supplements this is  not the ninja problem or the seller problem .The seller will  ignore and push the blame to  ninja  company say they switch  the product .The seller also mock at me saying is this the first time u order online trying to make me embarrassed.I tell the seller why should I trust him who is behind the phone and keep saying his product is genuine.I say I will not accept blind box if to accept I need to bring the courier with me to the police station to open to verify.He back up and say he will arrange a better way to deliver to me was trying to delay time.I block him 99 per cent from that platform are scammars

Anyone encountered in person scams? Like someone you just got to know, for example on this BW platform? Guy from overseas offered free services like personal training at your home, but when arrived at your home, talked about having a regular rate of $100 and then a premium rate of $150? I encountered this recently here. Even though before meeting, I confirmed with him that he is offering his service for free (yes, he confirmed), but was asking for money once at my place. I pretended that it was all a misunderstanding and did not pay for the service and had the guy leave my place.

I think most of the scammers are bots.

 

One example is I get messages from hairy daddies asking if I'll be their sugar baby.

The only problem is, I'll be 66 this year.

 

 These scammers/ bots are starting to become quite hilarious.

I would like to share my story:

I chatted with a guy from Grindr and we continue our chat in Telegram. Then we did a video chat and both of us showed our dick with our face visible. After that he asked me to share my instagram handle and I gave it to him. Then he started to message me to threaten me to post my dick video to my instagram followers. My panic mode then set in and I immediately block his Telegram user. After about 3 seconds later, I received another Telegram message that says "you won't be able to block me". After that I proceed to uninstall my Telegram app and delete my instagram account.

Hmmm....he says that he's from Brazil staying in a Clementi condo. And when he video chat with me, he was also naked and yes indeed he's an angmoh.

Yeah. Luckily nothing happened. My damage was only that I close my ig account and not using telegram app anymore.
