anyone going joya tonight. Thinking of going first time tonight and I have some qns.

 

- We can wear the disposable underwear in the pools?

- I saw some ads of people putting the towel on their heads whilst in the hot and cold pool. Is this the norm? 

- do u start with the sauna first then go to the hot and cold pool? 

 

Sry for the noob qns. Grateful for any guidance 🙏

-its okie for dispoable in the pool but most likely a turn off to make frds there.

It[s part of general onsen etiquette to try and ensure that your personal small towel doesn't directly touch the water of the pools.

Both the hot and cold pool temperatures were just nice for me.

 

Some benches in the sauna were still under repair but there were other usable benches to sit on still.

Temperature of the hot pool is just nice, not scalding anymore. While the center benches in the sauna are out of order, there are still people sitting at the sides of the center bench, and it looks safe. 

 

Also, do note that one of the door handles inside the sauna is now broken.

Thanks!! The centre benches seem to be the one that keep breaking. Hope they add more support to it

They have switched male to female side for onsen, just a heads up for anyone planning to go this 3 days during their reno. Good opportunity to try how the female onsen is like 👍

Since only few female customers they might accomodate them in private onsen with limited timings.
