True, mdc have a worst mgt team running and these mgt people thought they are very good and can produce good drama and show, also thought their pool of artistes very good. Usually a company failed is always due to the mgt people in that company.

 

Nick can only be a small artiste which cannot make it big or to ah ge level, but i am amaze why mdc still continue to renew his contract with them? Although nick does not have a condo, but at least he has a car. Afterall still not so inferior since the two big most expensive items which are car and house, at least he afford one. Haha. But don't know does his gf hong ling has a car?

chew chor meng left mediacorp long time ago. so dunno what u mean. all the old actors in singapore acting skills are good. is the new one like those 星二代 that cmi lah. just that sg scripts are bad now compared to pre-2010. scripts are bad, give u tom cruise and brad pitt also useless lah.

Not fair to criticise Chew Chor Meng la. His illness is very obviously affecting his ability to act and express himself. Can see that he is trying his best.

 

Chen Han Wei's acting have always been polarising because he won so many awards, people are comparing him to Xie Shao Guang. But his acting is not XSG standard. But if u look at his acting objectively, he is a good actor, definitely better than some of his peers like Li Nanxing or Terence Cao.

 

I think among the veteran MDC artistes, Cynthia Koh is one of the best. Up to now her acting still leave goosebumps (in a good way). She definitely deserves more than just one Best Actress award.

Putting whatever limitation of whoever, or who is better than who, or anyone's preference on whichever actor,  just judge the outcome - the production, the shows, the series.  Like how Spore competes internationally in economics, finance and manufacturing, what is the outcome of such productions in the international/regional arena?  

 

If cannot make it, means cannot make it; whatever praises or justifications are merely excuses.

Mark Lee and Gurmit Singh both are Golden Horse Best Actor nominees but neither are even considered good actors in Singapore.

Just watched ep 1 of Mister Flower over @ MeWatch (just for fun since so many here are talking about Elvin!).

 

Elvin still looks not bad (facial & skin condition / appearance) at 40, but can see 1-2 lines in his neck area. Maybe Rui En purposely put on weight for her role in this drama? OK still got Hong Ling, Benjamin Tan, Nick Teo, Shane Pow, Ian Fang, Liu Lingling etc. in this drama ...
