It can be rather easy to tell if someone is top or bottom because bottoms will behave in a certain way or dressed in certain way and love certain things but those are for those whom are very obvious.  Stereotype cliches like liking for branded goods, obsessed with looking "fabulous", wearing of “g-strong/thongs. makeups, etc. It's becomes harder for those gays who looks normal, talks normally and behaves like a str8.

I am also culpable of that.  When I mistakenly grabbed the bottom's crouch thinking he was a top, I was frequently reprimanded and given a wrist slap. How rude of them.

Absolutely,  they still want to live in the 80s and 90s...... Now in 2022, the trend have changed,  the more muscular often turn out to be btm. Not sure why but one reason could be they are already tired with all the training so just let someone else to serve them 🤣
