Guest musclegod
Seriously, the internet era is far over for dating games.1. Chat rooms: Most of them fake people who have very low self esteem. If you are chubs nothing wrong. You are no abs no muscle so? You look like the boh-gay uncle selling newspaper so? 2. Profiles in portal: Many fake ones as well, and its getting more and more boring. Same old faces looking for love. If you give the website a 3 year hiatus and return to it, you will be surprised to find the same old people looking for love. If not, fake profiles using pics of others. If you do not have a pic that is fine cos of preferences. But why use other pple's pics? The worst case I have encountered personally is a guy obtaining my email address adding me on msn and pretending to be another muscular guy in the gym. He even manages to memorize the details of the "role". Where he gyms, works, studies, and stays. Luckily, I know this "role" personally and so I play along before reporting the stalker to my friend. So who still believes in the internet? You can if you do not have a particular idea of your ideal partner. If not, it's better not to try your luck.

abang
not me but i dun really make frens from internet nowadays :smokin:Yes the chat rooms are full of ... I am 47 going 48 this year and had never lied about my looks nor am I afraid to disclose my age. However sometimes the kids are really cruel, causing a huge dent in the ego department. They said things that were so hurting.. At first I was quite disturbed by these remarks but as time passes, I observed that these kids are in the chat rooms almost daily, searching for their MR Right... kids, time and tide waits for no man and guess what, if you blink hard enough, you too will become an uncle in no time! Guest Chatter
At first I was quite disturbed by these remarks but as time passes, I observed that these kids are in the chat rooms almost daily, searching for their MR Right...I agree, this little birdies were hunting for sugar daddy type. They forgot that they are living in Singapore. Where got so many rich man. If one of a millions are rich, this rich sugar daddy also wanted someone less childish and more matured in thinking and they too have high expectation. Prince charming and king lear or even James bond 007 never quite existed in the gay circle. However, hair stylist, make-up artist, musicians, poets...etc are the best they could get,

Guest Musclegod
Koolkai, through the gym, gay saunas, gay parties...i have more than one bf.. cos i know my limits while i am still young.. once old liao cannot ask for more than one.. Hello, we are living in a superficial world.. Some pple don't mind older guys but looking decent and good reflects a discipline in handling one's health and deposition even at the age of 50.of course, don't say mean things lah.. its just reflect how chlidish their mentality is.. Guest Liars
Internet profiles and chatroom people are there to look for fun, so how often will you expect them to tell their real identity? If you choose to go to places like that to look for someone don't expect to get what you want lor. If you do and get con don't complaint also

danvin
But strangely, I have seen people becoming couples via the internet and stuff... But its rareYes agreed its rare, but it can happen. I found my bf in the chatroom in trevvy. It has been 2 yrs now and still going strong. As long as you respect his time and space, then should be ok.There maybe time he wants to be alone. Just give in a little and don't be pushy.

Stoner79
i thought that internet is supposed to lets you make friends, know more people, and in the process.... if met Mr Right.. then congrates, if not.. then just take it that you have met new friends.at the end of the day, relationship is not decided based on a few criterial, or outlooks itself. if you agreeded to meet someone, then meet them with an open heart. (of cos dun mislead ppl into thinking that you are very cute.) so at the end of the day, if dun click for relationship, at least you made a new friend. and Yes i have many friends who have found their BF over the internet. but most of them know each other as friends first. and not that they meet and immediately become couples. However if you are only looking for sex over the internet, that's a different issues totally.....
