Well, the room is actually rather small. There is a standard massage bed in the middle with only enough room for the masseur to move around the limited perimeter. So there is no shower facilities. Anyway, he doesn't use massage oil, only some light lotion. Guess, it's cos I have sensitive skin so I ask him not to use any oil on me right from the start. Just before he finishes, he will use a clean towel to wipe you dry all over. I never feel very oily after his treatment.

Yes, you are right, that place has some reputation for it's high number of study mama masseur but going by the lastest government ruling, I guess their number should be dwindling.

Remember about 5-7 years ago there was a massage place, look kinda straight and well renovated, at Keong Siak St called Ping Origin. it was run by 2 late-20s guys, suspect they are plu. Very good massage, deep tissue/swedish, with the Cerificates displayed (those time not so many people have the cert yet). Since the massage was so good i never asked for anything extra as I didnt feel like needing it and didnt want to offend the massuer because they never ask me too.

the place got 2 treatment room with proper massage bed and built-in showers, well renovated, the rooms are located at the back of the shophouse. The font part of the shophouse they themselves are selling some Balinese/Thai decor staff.

Anyone know where they 2 have gone to ? Really miss the massage. One of them is called Winson i think.

masseur have different level of tolerance to people touching and hmm playing with their body. some are not comfortable, some feel that it is part of the service, some may request a tip after that. but if the masseur say no, respect it, you are there for a massage after all.

I went to him thru strongly recommendation by my gym instructor.

Tried him a few times, no attitude and friendly, he is very professional and his massage is damn good. He got full of awards and certificates in his room.

I dun think he is very young, although he look young and charming.

He is quite mature in the way he talk.

According to my instructor, happened to know him for years, said he has been practised massage for many years. Used to be one of those very popular and pioneer in spa massage. Lots of gym goers like to visit him as well.

I think is very difficult for a new comer to get a time slot from him, Cos my friend tried to call him and he is always unavailable. :swear:

The centre itself have many other female massage places...ahem...with those ahem....

His shop is ok....nothing to boast about. But agian what do u expect with his kind of price......

Massage skill wise....yap he is one of the few that has certification....but think he lack that chemistry with me lah.... strokes are ok but not fantastic....the flow of sequences seem wierd...hence not able to relax well..... but overall, it an average time with him....

Is fair. Manly look. Rather sharp features. Slim. Very strong hairy hands.

If you are not sure who that person is just ask the people inside for Hiew. Sometimes he might be rather busy during the weekend, so if you do not want to wait just call for appointment.

He is very professional so you can be sure that your money is very well spent.

About extra? Sorry, I don't wish to diverge on that, this is after all a straight massage palour. Just be discreet and don't scare the poor fellow he is just trying to earn a living.

There isn't easy to tell how good the masseur skill from first visit. Many are likely to re-visit the messeur gave him pleasure.

Suppose this kind of practice is be encouraged further by the group of people give free advertisment to mis-behaviour messeur, the genuine messuers will be out of job that surely a loss for public.

I am fully sympthy with those messeurs who being turned on by a client or vice versa, I wish some users of this forum execrise great refrain, the act for encouraging mis-behaviour must not be stopped.

I hope reader of this forum response to this messsage.

OK.... In My Most Humble Opinion.....

I feel that guys who go for massage are there to relax and rejuvenate. Well, if the massage leads the guy to spot a hardon and the masseur refuses and rejects the request for a HJ by the customer, then the guy would leave the massage centre or spa feeling rejected and not fully recharged or relax. That's what I feel...

Many people has responded that some go for massage because they wanted to relax, and relaxation to some is just getting a good massage and to some others, relaxation means a good massage with a good happy ending... so to each his own isn't it?

I guess the masseurs are there to cater to different category of people, hence, no one is right and no one is wrong....

I personally dun feel that if the masseure provides happy ending, or extras, then he is ruining the reputation of all masseurs.... what say you guys? Do you agree with that statement?

With regards to the providing extra service issue,

Hmmm, I feel that massage is an occupation like any others where we always have little inconveniences and annoyance from colleague or clients alike all the time. We just have to leave with it and/or find a better way to deal with it.

Let me give an example: We always hear/read about famous celebrities alike who are constantly hounded by the media for the juiciest scope and we can hear them always lamenting, "I wish they(media) would leave me alone to my privacy."

But what is a celebrity? A person who entertains and is in the limelight. As your popularity rises, people would want to know about you therefore if there is such a demand the reporters would want to help them get it. Being adored and demanded comes with a price - lost of privacy. As a masseur, you have your own set of problems - to handle customer with wandering hands.

Where massage is concern, because the jobscope enables you to break the proximity between the client and yourself when skin to skin contact has been made, therefore, it would naturally let the other party feel a certain closest between the both of you at that moment.

I humbly feel that it's all up to the person providing the service to find a most professional way to settle the embarrassing situation.

If you are determine that you do not want to entertain any extra services:

1. Simply ignore the advances and gently take his hands away

2. If the client still does not take no for an answer, voice out gently that you are uncomfortable with this type of advances and do not do extra.

3. If you wish to retend the customer. After the end of the session, try to pacify the client by explaining why you do not do extra, and make sure you help to inflate his ego. Make him feel good about himself, it's not him that you have rejected. It's your stand on your professionalism.

Massage, belongs to the SERVICE industry and just like any service job that deals with PEOPLE, there will always be complaints, nuisance and annoying clients, but the most important point to remember is that you must be able to deal with it as professionally as when you are performing your job professionally.

Always be mindful that you are in a service industry and such things will always happen.

At the end of the day, as long as both hands are willing to clap there is no right and wrong. Even those who provide extra, they are providing a service that their client demands. We really have no right to condemn them or judge anybody.

As for who is right and worng, there is no answer. I just find that we are all human. The masseur have to be mentally prepared to tackle these type of advances probably for as long as he is in the industry, therefore he has to learn not to be affected by it and handle it most cordially.

The clients on the other hand should also learn that they must respect the masseurs as a decent human being. They have feelings too and also have the right to choose what they want or do not want to do.

Hope I have not offended anyone, just giving my 5 cents worth.

Let's all just stand up and give all our hard working masseurs the much needed respect that they deserve. We should all have a Masseur Day, to thank them for giving us that much needed human touch throughout the year.
