Surely, I left the place after that. But I had my own assumption what they would do later. So far I never had any sexual activity at MacRitchie inside the greenery. Oh I see. As I finished my first set, I put down the log and turned around. I was shocked as a group of monkeys (real ones) sat around me, watching with expectant eyes. As I had no weapon of any kind, I gave a soft shush and a slight wave of my hand. Thankfully, most of them scattered quickly. But the two largest ones remained coolly and confidently where they were. There was one night around 1230am, someone using torch light while patrolling. I quickly put up my clothes and left without getting noticed. If there are too many complaints from the "neighbourhood", then they start to patrol. Probably, some straight joggers or straight guys at the showers received a bit too much attention and lodged a complaint. As I wrote often here, the younger generation seems to have a lower "tolerance" level. Best is always to simply respect the space of straight guys. Enjoy their body by watching when the straight joggers passes by, but keep your restraint in not offending them with inadequate approaches. Entering a washroom with my straight pals made me feel awkward since I noticed a few gay folks ogling one other. But now it seems that fewer and fewer people are going there, especially young people. It's like how everyone used to use dating apps or go to the swimming pool to have fun, but now hardly anyone does. Maybe times have changed? Sometimes, it's more important to be careful of wild animals than being caught by the police. You could encounter venomous snakes, pythons, lizards, or wild boars, and you could end up losing your life... After all, these animals prefer to come out at night. I was walking over from Marymount side and decided to take shortcut from Westlake Ave side (where the bungalows are) to Macritchie Reservoir, and when close to the playground, I hear rustling sounds of leaves and dark shadows flashing by. I thought it could be wild cats, but when I got nearer, I noticed the silhouette resembled more like wild boar. So I slowly turned back and walked off. Can't imagine what would happen if you are up at the tomb or at the forested area behind canoe shed and then u come face to face with them and had nowhere to run. Make the effort and go during daytime early morning. You would wonder what you will see, huge snakes, wild cats, eagles waiting for you to slip and break your leg, ... Lately Singapore is flooded by Crocodiles from Malaysia (they take refuge here as the beach front in Malaysia has too much construction...) The wild boars can get very aggressive if they take care of offspring. (Refer to the woman that was hit at the new HDB area near Coney Island) Not sure everyone can run faster than them...
