I found out, is good everyone go other place to wworkout. TF now so quiet and so peaceful to workout, no more arrogant bitch modelling on machine pretend workout and selfie lol

Bumped into you at the changing room at TFX Funan at lunch time today. You were wearing tights with a nice visible bulge. We nodded at each other when I went off to shower. Drop me a text if you happen to see this.

hey guys, can TFX members access normal TF gyms as well?

yes. should be no issue. But if the other way round, True Fitness to TFX i m not sure.

Great! Was wondering where to find the previous thread… 

Maybe just to grumble about the shrinking number of TF branches with the closing of harbourfront… any idea if they are opening new branches?

I doubt they will open another TF branch. A TFX branch perhaps. But then TFX isn’t doing well. So I also dunno. 
Yea, the diminishing TF branch is a concern. I heard all newly joined members are TFX, by default.

TF/TFX has many classes wor. Some classes are damn difficult to book.

haha, the old thread is still around, just that no one post any juicy stuff for some time & it got 打入冷宫to the far end of this forum discussion🤣. so those who go to hbf usually, now which branch will you go?

yeah nowadays not much activities but occasionally still have some encounters at Novena branch 😋

Not sure about pricing but I think the facilities are not as nice at FF, ever since they removed sauna and steam room years ago.

Only go Novena and AMK branch since nearer to home and workplace. How about you guys?

Yes, a small towel. Sometimes, I left my towel outside the bench and walked in naked. Can only use my hands to cover. If the person entering was a regular, no need to cover. Hahaha. Oops! 😬

Yeah Novena was so happening back then with their steam room and sauna. Seen so many having fun inside. Too bad those were the days. If not for my lifetime membership, i probably would have hopped over to FF 😆

TFX management is trying HARD to get rid of black card (aka lifetime) members

Location: Novena branch. 

Rainy day but the gym has a larger crowd than I have anticipated. 
It is also a day where I see ‘old faces’ and ‘friends’ that I have not seen for a very long time; from Adlus, from Trevvy, and my sport friend. It’s as if I have traveled back time, 15 years ago!
Some still recognise me. Noded and acknowledged. Thanks for remembering me. 🥰

In the late afternoon, there was this guy in white translucent tights. His T-shirt wasn’t long enough to cover his butt and crotch. Thus, as he was doing his Romanian lifts, everyone behind him could see his tiny blue thongs that he was wearing. 😝🙈

More creepy, there was this bespectacled guy (black rimmed), fully dressed, pretending to be busy in the locker room, while watching that man in tights changed. Eww. That was way too obviously CRUISING! 
Oh well. It takes two hands to clap; one party wants to watch, the other party is willing to be watched.

I think a straight couple saw. The guy saw it and he whispered to his girlfriend and they both giggled. 
Then, another man doing bicep curl standing behind him also saw and he was smiling while texting. Prolly telling his friend or wifey about what he witnessed.

GWC has reintroduced asking members to leave a nonID-sensitive card (ezlink, business card) to use a locker. I asked what happened to the old system of printing a receipt to exchange for a locker key. Was told that too many keys were not returned so they need to implement this system of exchanging a card for the key.

 

1. Who's been stealing the locker keys? What do you actually do with them?

 

2. If member does not return key, surely you can contact them from the membership details on the receipt?

 

3. The key return procedure is also lax, just throw into an open box when you leave, counter is not manned at night.

 

4. If I leave someone else's business card in exchange for the key, wouldn't you also lose the key?

 

 

Anyone can enlighten me? Same at other clubs?

If I remember correctly, GWC is using the RF-ID key. 
The problem to all this is the management system. TF/TFX will not have such issue if members are still using physical membership card. Can easily check who does not return key and get fine. 
They want to go digital but they don’t have a good system to tackle issue like this. The management or should I say the person who come up w the idea has not given the plan a thorough thinking. Thus, end up with such trivial problem. 
At other club like Novena, members bring their own lock. Black card members are given a lock. 
For Millenia Walk, there are lockers w dials. Lots of problems too. Some ppl still cannot/dunno how to use the locker correctly. Some ppl set the locker to their own codes and left the locker at the locked position.  Other people who do not know the codes cannot use the locker. 
Different branch, different pattern, different problem. 🤦‍♂️

Surprised that all the gym centres don't have a common locker system.

 

I'll have to remember to bring a lock if I head to Novena ...

Still prefer the previous harbourfront system whereby everyone exchange for the rfid key to lock and unlock. Pretty straightforward and works well every time I’m there. Sad that they closed it down…

Today at Novena branch

Someone posted a Post-it note on a locker where 2 benches are located, at eye-level height with the following note:

 

" Post gym fun

Telegram: truefit69"

 

He must be damn horny and needed to get laid. 👿

 

Many (gay) guys saw that I am sure but no one took it down. Well, I still saw that note when I left the gym.

If only I have a marker or a pen with me, I will write the following:

"Rainy season just over. No bull frog available" 🐸😂🤣

Oh TF harbour front is closed? No new one to replace? I made a right choice to not continue membership I guess.

Closed for a month or so liao. No new replacement. Even if got new branches, it will be TFX. 
Less people also good la. Less crowded. Haha

I see ppl from FF joining leh. How I know? They wear the black shorts with FF monogram on it! 😝

Ever since Covid they close and NVR open again my friend. And the newly Reno one all remove. Very long already

Lucky I left TF long ago and sign up AF. But I do like going to the steam room after workout to relax.

You didn't miss much then I guess. They don't have many outlet now and even the "atas" TFX also no steam room. Don't know what it's atas Abt also.

My decision to leave TF is correct then haha…yes I saw TFX at Great World City and Funan. Doesn’t impress much.
