So recently tried this place again as there was some spare time during a weekday. The current price (6 hours for $59) was definitely more attractive than previous promotional price (3 hours for $49).

 

I didn't feel rush like the first time, wasn't paying attention to the time and I managed to explore the other facilities like the sleep pods, relaxation room, meditation room, e-sports room, etc. I also took a short-short nap (in the relaxation room), but not so conducive as constant noise could be heard from the lounge (where free fruits/ice cream was), as well as people coming in/out taking a look.

 

While taking a break for fruits and ice cream, there was this lady attendant commenting I looked familiar and asked if I was a regular - I just said it was my second time (and she replied no wonder...), don't know real or not, haha. Then another higher rank lady came and asked if I would require massage service, which I politely declined and she walked away 'professionally' without further questions.

 

But there were more people wearing disposables at the pool area, such a disappointment, haha. At one point, it was just me alone (have the whole place to myself) at the pool area - more service staff than customers, haha. Overall it was a better experience with more time to roam about than the promotional period (which was only 3 hours). My only "complain" is --- too far, haha. I hope they open a branch in the east, or another competitor opens one in the east, haha.

 

Forgot to add that my favourite spot was the seated jacuzzi, definitely very shiok!   🤭

Women staff entering male nude areas is known in Japan and Korea - but I've never heard of that in China (thankfully).

Yes, there is a fixed timing for their buffet meals with a 2-hour dining limit for each meal, you could refer to my previous post (here) - but you definitely can eat nonstop within that 2-hour eh, haha.

thanks korkor! btw what time do you think is the "best" time to go? im considering to get the 6 hour pass for $59, and arrive at like 2 pm, i can go for the lunch buffet for 1 hour + then since the dinner buffet starts at 5.30 pm i can still go for another hour? haha wonder if have to rush for tables and the food one. Had the impression that in china the food gets snatched up super quickly

Err... it's 2-hour limit for each meal, not total of 2-hour for all meals ah, haha.

 

I assume you're going during weekend or public holiday? Because weekday lunch ends at 1430, so you probably won't have 1 hour to enjoy. Also, as it is ending, the selection of food might be limited or not as good a variety?

 

So if you asked me, I suggest you reach at 3pm (you have your own lunch first, since the buffet price is rather expensive) and soak (or add a scrub if desired), then roam around or even get a short nap, after that just nice for dinner at 5.30pm when the food are all freshly prepared/cooked - to enjoy the 2-hour fully. After dinner, you still have at least 1.5 hours to soak eh, haha.

 

Just a suggestion, you decide what's best for yourself eh.

this is a spa that even some working adults like us have no abilities to enter 

 

I didnt get hard when doing scrubbing cos it s not meant to be , so dont worry

Yes, the 6-hour pass does not include any meals, all separate payment. Unfortunately, the packages that include meal(s) are at least for 12-hour stay (see the third package here).

 

I didn't try the scrub, but from what I saw, those guys doing the scrub didn't look 'hot' eh, haha.

is house+ worth it? if not can anyone suggest a onsen thats more worth? not looking to do any massage etc. just want to try out using an onsen

also can anyone explain the process?? im not really clear on what im supposed to do inside haha

Step 1: Strip off and wash up,

Step 2: Do into sauna

Step 3: Take off your towel and show off your family jewels proudly

Step 4: Do 100 jumping jacks, 10 burpees, 30 crunches, 20dips, 20 pushups. Cool down in the cold pool. Repeat 10x.

 

Rest, relax and flaunt your freshly sculpted muscles.

Hmm, based on your profile and introduction, House+ Bubble seems to be a good choice for a simple 6 hours for $59 (includes free flow of ice creams, fruits and drinks - not buffet lunch/dinner, look here for pricing, or here for packages with meal). This price is even better than their previous promotional price of $49 for only 3 hours, relatively reasonable (price inclusive of GST).

 

What to do there

1) At entrance, fill in questionnaire using provided iPad, change out your shoes with slippers provided and get a locker key for your clothes.

2) Find your locker in the men section, strip naked (optional to carry/wear a towel), and off you go 'showing off' lor, haha. [of course, you could still also wear the black disposable underwear or white shorts, if you're shy]

3) The staff would direct you if you need help. Shower then you can soak already. After soaking, wear their in-house clothes to roam around and eat some free fruits.

4) Take a nap if desired, but make sure you leave by the end of 6 hours (or they will charge extra for overstaying).

 

 

There is another Joya Onsen in the West, but I've not been there, so you might refer to their own thread topic for more information.

Unfortunately, I probably couldn't answer this question well, as I've only visited twice (and it's a relatively new place eh), so won't know how's the usual crowd is (and too far for me to go often). For what's it's worth, you could refer to my 2 reviews (here and there). You should just go and try it out eh, who knows you might have lots of good experiences, haha.

It's worth it for bubble spa because have free flow of drinks , fruits and also their pools and environment is nice ..depends on what timing, it be noiser/ quieter .

Quiet should be night times. Like late night , you can bring boyfriend*? Then many ppl should be like weekends afternoon*.

Last time I visited, a lot of them are in Bubbles' white shorts instead of the black disposable underwear. Only few naked. Wonder when and who started wearing their soft white shorts to soak there. The quality of the white shorts are actually quite soft and good. Such a waste to wear to soak in the hot pool. 

 

Sat and Sun noon time till late afternoon are the busiest with families and kids. Similar to Yuno, but kids are much much more than Yuno. My personal experience. 

 

Maybe more people to "see", but also more screaming and running kids......

@smlDik I assume you're also staying in the West (from your profile), then this House+ Bubble Spa would be a good 'start'. Coincidentally, I had written about the entry cost on this Spa and Yunomori Onsen 2 days ago, you could either scroll up or click here to read about it.

 

You do not have to bring anything at all, just bring yourself and a card for payment, haha.

 

If you want to eat something (which will be an extra cost), you could refer here for House+ Bubble Spa, or check here for Yunomori Onsen.

I was there on friday evening leh. Not sure which one is u. hehe. I was with my frd and we were there from 5:30-10pm. Actually i'm easy to be notice with my chest tattoo and nips studs. hehe.
