If you are on a budget, you can take the overnight bus/train that leaves JB at 11 pm and arrives Genting at 6 am the following day.

Have breakfast at Merrybrown - their nasi lemak is quite good.

After a short visit inside the casino (Dont burn your money!), you may want to venture the exterior - a walk in the clouds...

If you are not into theme parks, then I suggest you take the cable car.

It will transport you to the lower station where you catch a bus to KL.

Within an hour, you will reach KL.

Do some sight seeing (at the Padang and Supreme Court area) and shopping.

If you are adventurous, hit the swimming pool at Chin Woo, Chinatown.

Yes, it reminds me of Singapore in the early 1960s there - very quaint.

Otherwise, hit the local sauna at Bukit Bintang/Starhill area.

Finally, catch the overnight bus/train back to Singapore.

You can see Genting and KL without staying overnight!
