it really depend on age as well, so far we are talking about guys in college, ns etc. basically guys in their 20, we can pass off as playful puppy love, the age where u r fearless, do things without much consideration but imagine 2 mature mascular hunks holding hand, it maybe hot for us but definitely look weird to the straight and it will be even worse if is 2 old man, their first impression will be 2 "lao ah kwa", so ya most of us have pass the age when we dare to hold hand or do something provocative in public except well if we are drunk, that is a totally different story

Many years ago, i was dating a guy and 1 night we were walking from bright street lamps area crossing into a dark grass patch and that's when he held my hands, until just before it gets bright again. Till now I still rmb that sweet scene. I wouldnt do it now still under busy bright lit area. Safe the trouble of having to explain if bump into relatives or colleagues.

Several yrs ago I was in Bangladesh doing volunteer work.

While crossing a busy road, my local fren (straight) held my hand n pull me across. Nothing sexual. He is a good fren so its a warm sign of a brotherhood.
