The female spa area is also upstairs, alongside the individual massage rooms and the movie theatre.

I miss Gspa.. the price is actually damn good wei if earning in singapore... look at the KSL and those in KL... Just 12hrs already RM168-180...

btw the level 2 movie theatre area can sleep? from surface videos seems like just a 2 small room merged. quite squeezy it seems

I've seen people sleep in the movie theatre area. I think it is only open on Saturdays on Sundays, but during those days, it is open the whole time.

I was at gspa last weekend.. i already secured myself a spot in the movie room for a nyt sleep but i cannot tahan the 2 guys snoring so loud as if they are in  competition  hahaaha good thing i found another vacant lounge chair in the room with fountain..

GSpa is $80 for admission. Shanghai scrub is $48 for members. So Total is $128. The other body scrub is $58. 

If I remember correctly, Royal Club if you do the China scrub plus admission is $127. Unless you bought the 10 session package then is $98.

For people who likes to go GSpa, think it will be good if you become their members, cos admission will have discount, only $68. I learnt to follow the crowd now. See most nude, then do it. See most not, then didn't. Haha. Btw, it seems that they are not too strict on the shorts to go into the hot pool. Saw people went in with the smooth material shorts, instead of the blue shorts. Thought the smooth material shorts is only for lounge area and massage and the hot water may spoilt it. No?  

 

Btw, anyone got any advice on which day or timing is the best? Not going to stay passed midnight or overnight. 😅

Think that building is also under Furama. Maybe Furama make it cheap? Cos quite a few shops closed down this year, including the restaurant below Royal Club. 

 

Wonder when is their rental contract renew / ending too. Cos ya, I also still have a package with them. 😅 

Was surprise that got 3-4 people sleeping overnight there at their resting area, snoring quite loudly. I was in the changing room and can hear from inside. 🫣 Quiet in the afternoon after they left. Haha.

i didnt even know there is a restaurant under it

now singapore land prices will only up and not reduced
ie why u been hearing alot of F&B closing down as they cannot afford the high rent

anyway i vividly rem there was 1 CNY, i went ALL alone as usual 
the Royal Yihe staff try to make it as welcoming but it is like "desserted" cos they uds it is CNY period!!!

but i m fine, i need to do my stuff
and there is one indian
the only indian i saw in such spa esp a chinese-themed one ROyal Yihe 
the chef is Chinese for sure

the staff asked me to join them in their "reunion"dinner ( i saw their dish all the china dish) yes, their buffet is china style as many of u commented too

not too soon, due to work schedule changed and all the way till xmas i have Staycation 
So wont be doing any onsen and CNY will bz as Chinese

Cos i believe for bkk hotels that comes w Onsen, many tourists patronised it
but not sure why not for the case of Furama?

Been there 4-5 times in past month.

 

mainly Chinese crowd. There were some non-Chinese locals enjoying the pool from time to time.

 

doesn’t seem like a lot of tourists. Their marketing team needs to do more I guess.

I did met some Malay and Indian (I think, or maybe African) at Royal Spa before. Both very fit. Haha.

But you are right. Very very rare. Mostly Chinese, and mostly middle aged to elderly China people.

Young Chinese usually go with gf.

 

I think the food and the resting area better in GSpa, that's why crowd at GSpa seems to be more. And it's much more. However, I usually see more men at the lounge than ladies for GSpa. Seems that most people go there more for food and facilities. Massage and scrub seems lesser.

To have some encounters hopefully? Then GSpa may be a better choice.

If to change environment to sleep well...... Royal Spa high chance more quiet and can sleep better. GSpa always have people with loud snore. Just this week got one snore louder than the fountain sound. 😅 Impress that the lady besides him still can sleep. Likely his wife, used to it already.

Nope. Only left Mineral water. Hot drinks only the Ginger Tea and the Sleeping Tea. Haha.

 

Their buffet (4 dishes) is 12pm-2pm and 5pm to 7pm (Or is it 8pm?). Other time only have bowl instant noodles and dessert. Not sure about breakfast (If there is any). Ever heard a customer complaint that advertisement indicated 24hrs buffet, how can only have instant noodles. 😅 

 

Ya. GSpa more choices on food. Like their Monday menu the best. Nasi Lemak and Pork Knuckle noodle. Plus the yummy curry chicken! However, GSpa don't have male masseur do Aroma Massage (Think it's known as Harmony), and their massage rooms are shared, unlike Royal Spa. Of course one can pay extra to get a private room at GSpa if want. Or if you are their VVIP members.
