Guest Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I think this is really a timeless classic IMHO... I wonder if it's just me, or were there really a larger variety of tones and singing styles in the past as compared to what we have nowadays? This song really shows the various styles and tones of singing of the different singers, and all in one song alone. I guess everyone in the entire environment are all coming out from the same mould nowadays, that it's becoming really boring. angel_dust 1
abang Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Miss Lin Liang Le (Jessie) passed away 2 days ago at the age of 53. She created a ripple in the late 80s/90s with her image and voice. She was, by no means, not a damsel-in-distress. She was rather heavy and the record company gave her an androgynous look - with aviator sunglasses and man's jacket to cover her curves. But it was her voice that catapult her to that short period of fame. Her 2 most popular songs - Leng Jing Qing Sheng and Wan Rou de Ci Bei.. You can listen to the plea of a woman falling out of love in both songs.. MeninSinglet 1
