Hi all

If payday falls on a monday, when will the employees receive their salary?

Is it company to company basis, or across the board?

thanks.

That s the problem with income creation because it s temporary. If u stop working , the income stops too. And if u don t have any income stream other than your job ,you re heading disaster.

Yes it's roland again at penang now

Never depend on just pay day alone.

Always leave some money aside for that emergency

If you need more money to cover your expenditure, it may be wise tp do some part time work ....

Since Monday is a weekday, your pay should be in your accounts on Monday. If it's on a Saturday or Sunday, usually it goes in on the weekday before that, which is Friday. If Friday is a public holiday, then it should be present on Thursday after midnight.

With Giro everything is computerized, so it follows weekday/weekend on the 24hr clock system. And HR usually submits the forms to the banks at least 2 weeks in advance, So it's basically "on hold" till the actual pay day.
