Back from a great short trip in batam...

Stayed at the hills... Was welcomed by a cute chinese guy who was pretty warm and friendly.

Went for massage at majesty at nagoya hills area... All female therapist... Not much strength to give a good decent massage.

Went to eksa spa at nagoya the next day, due to hari raya, there had been an additional 20% surcharge imposed. Did thai herbal compress with a male therapist... Great massage.

Went over to eat at happiness restaurant, pretty decent and affordable food.

The rest of the time was spent browsing around the mall in nagoya... Pretty interesting mix of shops..

Bought I came back, went to mega mall to do a 3 hour great spa package... Body massage, scrub, mask and in room jacuzzi... For about $100... Heavenly...

I'm new here and hv been reading this thread with a lot of interests. Thinking to make a trip for fun in batam. Need some advise:

 

1)  which counter at harbourfront to buy the ferry ticket? Should i head for nagoya town as my destination or somewhere else? I heard they r many arrival points in batam

 

2)  after immigration in batam, can i find all the taxi or motobike drivers waiting outside? they speak english (i can't speak malay)? how much is the usual charge (by hour or day)?

 

3)  can i ask direct to the driver to bring me to guy massage places? how much the massage cost and how much to tip?

 

4)  do they accept singapore dollar or i must pay rupiah?

 

5)  some one suggest here that u can pick up guys directly in shopping malls/hotel/street, etc, is it really that easy? is it dangerous? they speak english? how much to pay?

 

6)  which hotel to stay in batam?

 

7)  can i bring the "new friend" back to hotel room? will hotel ask me to pay for extra person or security guard stop me?
