Recently I had the pleasure of listening to classical music that used to be played in Cantonese movies of the 50s and 60s.

The first piece is Thais Meditation. This was used regularly when something bleak happens - a daughter-in-law is chased out by her mother-in-law.. to deepen that melancholy of the incident - throw in heavy downpour. 白燕被黄曼梨赶出家门。。屋漏偏逢连夜雨。。没钱看病。。。

还是加点轻松的吧。。第二首是。。very sexy.. 跳艳舞的场面

The third song is funny enough by the Gaylords.. Woodpecker song..
