fallequinox01
I have a fvcking great interest with arts, so I would like to start this thread for those who are same.I'm really keen to know people who are into arts (be it 3D, 2D, digital, traditional, installation) and do such as well. Please share your works or other's works which you really like.I'm into always every art, but I usually do surrealism and traditional ones, using pen and pencil primarily. Those who are into fashion designing are also welcome. I'm eager to see some of your works. ^_^ muddywill, revenkit and whoiam 3 Quote "Listen -- are you living just a little and calling it life?"Mary Oliver

Keough-Kenrik
lol. An art thread! How awesome. xDI do think art is a bit under appreciated sometimes. We spend so much hours on one painting/drawing and people just look at it in a glance saying "that looks nice." Lol. xD But anyways:I'm usually an introvert when it comes to my creations. lol. I don't know- just abit shy when it comes to sharing these type of things. Hahaha.Like- I make song covers at home too but then I never share them to anyone. Keough-Kenrik
Nice work! How long did you take to complete them?Ermm- the first three on top~ surely an average of 4 hours of work. (The owl-bear guy was done in 2 hours?, LOL.)That girl with that weird helmet thing took around 5-6 or so (can't remember. Hahaha.)The three illustrations below though are the ones that took a lot of time. One painting takes 10+ hours of work to paint fully and have all the corrections, then I work on them like 2+/- more hours polishing every 3-5 days till they actually become clean. Maybe around 18-22+/-??Haha, I'd say that also.Damn, I'm fvcking inspired by some of the works here already. Wanna go digital already. Tips for starters? Software? Tools? :D Errr~ I'd suggest getting a tablet (WILL BE COSTY). It's the only investment i can think of when it comes to digital work. Hahaha. xDOther than that~ the only thing I can think of is practicing. hahaha.Oh~ And you should keep all your work. HahahahaThere will be times when you feel like you're not improving~ and your only option from here is to look at your older work to see your progression. (Same logic as how people who gym take photos of themselves every month to see how it changes.) Hahahaha. xD Edited October 3, 2012 by Keough-Kenrik Alyvian

Back when I was in my country- having a tablet is a complete privilege not every artist could get. To have every student in a class own a Wacom sounds cool. Ermm... The Wacom I have right now is an Intuos4 Medium. I got mine back I think 2 years ago or something. 550 SGD more or less. (It should be cheaper now.)Oh yeah. LOL- Just get a wacom tablet. It doesn't really matter (I feel.) Whatever you do on Pencil will just reflect on what you do on a Wacom. So even getting the more expensive ones won't really affect your work. I know people who have like 4-5 year old wacoms and they're still using it. Wacoms are sturdy. hahaha Edited October 3, 2012 by Keough-Kenrik
