The time display in BW seem like differs from local time as my phone shows. For instance, i send a message out at local time 12:10am but BW show 3.14pm. Pls advise.

select <Notification Options>

uncheck boxes under Private Message

Why I cannot have a particular member's reply attached to my reply when I click Quote. It always gave me as a single reply, that is, the member's reply was not in my replying window ?

1. We received a query on how a Member can ignore some particular Member (say member-XXX)

from Contacting / Spamming him.

2. Follow theses steps:

Login and click on your own Nick at the Top-Right-Corner.

Select Manage Ignore Prefs

Enter member-XXX and you can select to ignore his Messages, Signature and Posts.

3. Click save changes.

4, Yeap, don't fight with people, just banish them from your sight. Peace.

Strange...the main page of BW on my Safari, iPad and Samsung Note 3 have all done a right alignment with punctuation marks at the beginning of the sentence instead of the end. Is this normal?

Dear moderators,

 

I've experienced the pop-up ad (like asking to download yahoo games or something) when viewing the forum using my tablet (Android type) when I was out these two days - something that happened recently a couple of months back. No problem when I was home using my laptop though.

 

Could somebody look into it to see if there is any issue, please? Thanks.

 

Anyone else experienced it similarly?

You can't do that. Only the MODS can do it.

2. I believe you are right. We moved data centre recently. It seems to have some problems since.

4. In the mean time, send an email to forum@blowingwind.org from your account used for registration and give us your BW ID.

We will manually validate for you.

Hi I m not sure if this should be posted here but the forum page on my iPad mini seems to behave strangely today. It keeps transferring me to the AppStore to download random apps. Anyone has the same issue?

I use ipad2 and it happens when I view a new thread or section, I'll be directed to apps store.

Today it has directed me to download Brave Frontiers 3 times.

Sign in.  Go to 'My Profile' > Edit Profile and under 'General Account Settings', set the Time Zone accordingly.

On your top right corner of the screen, click on the letter icon. The little window pops up with a link called "View All Messages". Click on that.

From here, you check the unwanted private messages, the Delete function should be the default action in the action menu, if not scroll to that. Then click "Go". That should remove unwanted messages.

The chatroom can only be accessed if you are logged in to your BW account. If you already are, then I'm not exactly sure why you're facing this issue. It could be browser related. Can you post a screenshot of your BW interface?

But the message cannot be deleted, is the inbox get block or lock? Now my inbox Is full and I like to delete all the messages, can please help?

Hi nature69,

 

I highly doubt that your personal messenger inbox can be blocked/locked. It can, however, be disabled by you. I've also tried sending you a PM and it got through, so I'm pretty sure your inbox is not full at the moment. Are you sure you're experiencing issues with the personal messenger?

I can't think of a reason why your inbox cannot be cleared. You might wanna send Bern a PM on this.

 

As to how you can post a screenshot.

 

It depends if you're on a desktop/laptop.

If you're on your desktop, just hit the "Prt Sc" button located around the top right of your keyboard.

For laptops, hold onto "Fn" at the bottom left and hit "Prt Sc" on the top right of the keyboard.

 

Next, you do this.

 

 

Once your screenshot is saved, you need to find an image hosting site. I personally use photobucket, but there's imgur and others alike for example.

 

 

To post that hosted image into your post, you do this.

What error message do you see when you try to delete your messages?

Can you tell me if you are on the mobile or desktop version and the name and version of your web browser?
