Anyone knows why some people hang their small towel on the outside of their locker door? Aren't we supposed to bring that in to the onsen?

Some cool guy enter the onsen don't need towel.
Some hang their towel to air dry when they head out for food, take a break at the lounger...

$48.60 with GST. It's the same as onsen entry pass but just 1 for 1
