Japanese tweets are rejoicing its opening on the 23rd.  One of the grandson is taking over.  He is supposedly straight but the tweets are all from gay men so the fun resumes, i guess.

### My Tuesday Afternoon Adventure at Shinjuku Kaikan 24! 😏♨️🇯🇵

Aiyoh! Uncle went looking for relaxation but stumbled into an international entertainment festival! 😂

On Tuesday afternoon, I decided to explore Shinjuku Kaikan 24, an international gay sauna, hoping to add a little excitement and adventure to my Tokyo holiday. After all, uncle is on holiday mah! 🤭

When I arrived, the sauna was surprisingly quiet. I thought, “Aiyoh, where is everybody? Did I come on the wrong day?” 😂

But wait! Three of the twelve bathroom areas were telling a completely different story!

Uncle thought he had come for a relaxing Japanese bath, but the soundtrack sounded more like an international adult film festival!

Just got back from my Japan trip this morning.

 

My trip started at Fukuoka and I spent two nights at HEARTS Hakata as recommended.

It's a weird set up in that it's a bus station/hostel/cafe/co-work space. There was always people just hanging around.

There is no space for your suitcases, and I mean, all suitcases - you can't leave it outside your capsule or in the communal area. Suggest you have an overnight bag and you re-pack your needs daily that you can store in your own locker. Capsule is OK, I got 2 nights of good sleep there. The communal bath is very cruisy, and picks up from the late afternoon and gets even busier after 10pm to the point where it may become standing room only as all the little stools get full, sauna full and guys lingering around. Whilst I was there, the action happens in the dry sauna, it's very cruisy - I received blowjobs, handjobs, nipple play and even got fucked in there. The downside though is that it is actually very hot, so I found it difficult to stay inside for more than 10 minutes if nothing was happening. The sauna also closes during the day, from 12pm to 3pm from memory. I don't think anything happens in the dorms as it is really a genuine capsule hotel/transit hotel - however, a tourist clearly thought it was okay to sleep naked, face up and blind half opened whilst I was there.

 

I then moved on to Nagasaki for three nights. Cute city, but there's nothing there gay-sex-tourism wise.

 

Then I moved to Osaka, and for 2 nights I stayed at APA Temma. It's one station from Osaka Station on the Osaka Loop Line. I found it to be a bit out of the way. The room was really small, older style, but clean and adequate. The sauna is on Level 2. You get changed into your kimono and bring your towel downstairs, and it is very cruisy with guys eyes following each other, but there isn't much play that happens as there are many genuine guests and even children. Most guys show up after 10pm as well, and the sauna closes at 1am. The modus operandi is you cruise, make eye contact and if compatible, then go together to a room to fuck. I didn't have much luck as I was tired and also the guys were not my type.

 

When I Osaka, I took the chance at K1 - it's a very small sauna on the outskirts of Namba with the most lovely host - however there is a catch - you need to be in shape - the sauna is known to be fit4fit and the host will reject persons that don't fit the criteria. He will ask your height, weight, role and age and has some translated cards to communicate with you. The fee is 1200Y, but because "I go to the gym", he charged my 1000Y. Then I stripped down to my underwear to get my locker key, and he pulled out another card that went along the lines of "you look very fit and macho" and gave me back 200Y - so my entry fee was 800Y - it was very flattering. K1 is very small, maybe 20 guys capacity max. Upstairs is a small dark room with 2 mattresses on the floor, and a chair behind a curtain. Level 3 was a shower and 2 private rooms, and the loft had a small TV showing gay porn and another small curtained off room. When I was there, there was maybe 10 to 12 guys, and I got fucked twice and played with another.

 

The following night, I felt really sore from K1, and decided to have a free and easy day. Someone from the app suggested Konpira Onsen. It's an old school onsen and it's open. I got there at 6pm, and there was a line on a "one out - one in" basis based on locker availability, but it moves relatively quickly. You need to bring your own soap, towel, plastic bag, everything. Cost was 600Y. On the ground level, there's a small steam room, a few pools including an electrocution pool (lol, seriously), and scrubbing area. Directly upstairs is another small pool and an open air area. Then to the side upstairs there is a dry sauna and chill out space. The vibe is very old school and hasn't been renovated since the old days, so have low expectations and it may be viewed as dirty to some. Guys are openly fondling each other in the pools, sucking, and wanking. I started playing with a Japanese athletic build in his early 40's with a classic Japanese face - and ended up blowing my load all over myself for all to see. A lot of fun, but to be frank, because I was spoilt at K1, most of the crowd was not for me (mostly uncle-type to be honest).

 

I wanted to go to Daikichi as well, as I had many fond memories when I went to Hokuokan almost a decade ago, and apparently Daikichi is now it's replacement, but ran out of time. So will have to go next time.
