Movie trailer. Not sure when it's out. Think there's another fox fairy themed BL drama but set in modern times....the title mention Roommate or something. Different from this one. Unknown/less-known actors.

Movie. Said to show end of Nov.

Story and trailer don't look BL/gay....but posted under BL topic in another forum....and the posters....

It's about a series of missing females....then one writer and one police guy met through a special bathtub (sort of like a wormhole)....and trying to solve the case.

So the latest one...either u treat as alternative ending....or simply ignore the sad one and believe in the happy ending.

The drama serial while having the main str8 couple...think give enough screen time to the 2 guys with subtle hints of their relationship...so it's really good enough. 

Actually it is quite nice...i mean the other chars often like hint at their relationship...w/o mention str8 or gay...like it doesn't matter.

U can search by country and theme. I only tried a few so not sure if all the clips work or not.

This post in another forum listed out all the china BL drama/movies these few mths, the rest of 2016 and even 2017 where a few season 2 are planned (but different actors)....no...no Addicted/Heroin.

One of them is abit unusual....The Butterfly Lovers....they plan to get a guy to play Zhu Yingtai 祝英台....think it's still gal char....but played by a guy who often cosplay as gal. So it's not BL...except the bit with Liang Shanbo initially suspect he got feelings for fellow male student.

 

Well, if u look at all these dramas/movies....some are not BL....but so-called "fake" BL....eg soul exchange btw male and female....or close brotherly relationship etc.

Anyway, during Lin FengSong (who played YouQi in Addicted)'s birthday event with fans....the screen show Weizhou and Jingyu's bday greetings to him....sigh....still can't be together in same frame....and not even one after another.

Appreciated Lin...i think he knew those 2 would get attention during his birthday....but perhaps he wanted to show support to them too.

 

I didn't follow the BTS and fun clips of the 2 leads from Uncontrolled Love -不可抗力....but seems like there are a lot of clips....and their chemistry seems good.

Came across this makeup channel by 2 young china guys....most are cosplay makeup....this one is normal casual makeup...which is still alot...haha.

Not into the makeup....but feel it's quite sweet and cute. Think they are really a couple, even stole kisses during the clips (eg here, after 11:50 , so natural)....and admit their relationship into one Q&A video.

I read the translated side story featuring these 2 and it was fun. Ko's constant manipulation to get what he wants [like when he gets his sheets and everything wet in the rain just so he can sleep in Handsome boy's bed or feeding him oysters to get him on the mood] and him only eating cheap eggs vs the small expensive ones he prepares for Handsome boy. All so adorable. Sometimes a little rapey. But I love the BL cut you can find on YouTube of the two [that part where he says he will do the cooking and cleaning and anything even do Handsome boy]:D

Synopsis

Some fanmade 10min clip of 双程 - A round trip to love with a happy ending at the end using footage of the 2 actors from their other dramas.

The songs used are quite nice....esp the 1st song,  认命 (cantonese) by 王菀之 (from an old TVB drama 银楼金粉).

The 2nd song 你曾说 is by the leads themselves. After that, the sad music....think it's 潮鳴 from Clannad visual novel.

Read that it's BL....but trailer seem more focus on the political and spy themes.

The director and actors are same as the previous drama 识汝不识丁....which if any of u had followed, ended with no ending in the last ep. Read that they would probably release the proper ending in either DVD or another episode in the future.

And also read 我和X先生第三季(最終季) — 再見X先生....the last episode was not allowed to broadcast. I didn't follow this drama serial. I don't know if they would find a way to release it in the future.

 

Now i wonder if the china censor board is now handling all these BL drama serials this way....1st allow u to broadcast....then either pressure u to edit the episodes later....or just ban the last episode....eventually viewers would lose hope in similar future drama.

 

Anyway.....upcoming dramas/movies....if no change.....

Bungee Jumping of Their Own (2001)

 

Synopsis

In-woo (Lee Byung-Hun) and Tae-hee (Lee Eun-Ji) are two college freshmen who didn't believe in love at first sight, but later find themselves wrapped in a deep relationship that would last forever. Synopsis

Synopsis

Three stories of contemporary gay life in South Korea.
1. Kim Chu-ja directed by Choi Jin-Sung. A fantasy musical about two men who were lovers in the past meet again by chance. Each of them has his own life now. One of them also has a daughter from his marriage. How will this reunion end?
2. Drifting Island directed by So Joon-Moon. A quiet, sad love story about a man who wants to leave and a man who wants to hold him back.
3. La Traviata directed by Lee Song Hee-Il. A woman comes to Bogil Island to meet her dead husband’s lover. She’s angry when she sees him happy. She sees the red camellia flowers and she comes to terms with her husband’s homosexuality while recovering from the hurt.

The 2 actors in 男狐聊斋....the one as fox fairy is called 叶小开...his normal look also not bad.

The movie song 无尽传说 is sang by 幂雅 who is originally a songwriter....she wrote 王心凌《任性情人》,《不哭》 , 杨丞琳《忘了》 etc.

Think 上癮/ShangYin is like properly introduced to S.Korea....b'cos i saw some recent trailer in korean.....many new BTS clips (with korean sub)....and Jingyu even appeared in S.korea for a fan meet. Among the BTS....saw some new ones (or parts) which i don't remember seeing.

 

 

A less-known singer called 光澤 recently released a song called 上癮...i don't think he meant it to be for this drama...it got its own MV. But fans made this other MV. 

Interestingly....the lyrics seems to suit 2 scenerios...the part where Bai Luoyin left after the car accident....and also perhaps for some shippers, the 2 actors can no longer appear in public together.

One lyric 失去你比愛你還要開心 這就是愛情.....i wonder is it b'cos knowing u r happier after we part our ways....is a happier thing?
