This is not about being gay or straight. This is about sexual assault. Sexual orientation has nothing to do with the crime. The assailant abused the trust of his victims and was violent towards them, and threatened their safety.

From what I've read, when guys sexually assault other guys, it's to intimidate them or to exert dominance.

Surprisingly, it's usually not related to sexual attraction.

So it's possible for the abuser to be straight.
