They erected (no pun intended 😅) a mezzanine floor at the corner of the building with a staircase of 11 steps to lead you upstairs. Senior does not necessarily means frail. If you see those pride or kink festivals in Europe, ppl of all ages are there and notably many in their 60s or 70s having a good time together across age groups. If LGBT people keep talking about being inclusive, then we should walk the talk. To be inclusive, have appropriate signage n have the front counter folks remind ppl to be more careful will do. Hold it at a confined area so patrons have a choice whether they want or dont want to join. My concern is not seniors per se. But there are odd personalities who target those in the dark with bad behaviour. To prevent those, if up to me, I would actually hold in a confined area then turn on all the lights there. Isn't that what "spare a thought" means? Confined meaning only one area is wet with foam. Other areas are dry so everyone can choose to attend or not attend. Safety is of course important, hence keeping some dry areas too. "Spare a thought" doesnt mean dont do anything fun. Especially if healthy ppl including older guys want to have fun too.
