It would cost nothing to the owner to put a notice on his website explaining that they are closed, why they closed, and if they have any future plans. The gay community in Singapore should make a big fuss about being treated with such lack of consideration. Here I have to give much credit to the "Absolute Team" for having placed such a notice on their website, telling when they closed, what is going on, and when they will reopen. navyblue Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Actually, i was "conned" a few times searching online for branch locations of certain brands of products and realised that the branches have ceased operation and changed owners AFTER reaching the indicated shopping malls.I remember there was no notification when SMA closed down too, because I went to the store and realised it was empty. Guest Guest Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Keybox once denied me a free pass upon exiting their premises by saying I should have reminded the staff to give me during my entrance and it was my fault for forgetting to do that; i go to different saunas and some of them gave during the exit, so i can't remember which is which; the boss was even unwilling to give me the pass by saying they have limited no. and had the cheek to imply I have taken the pass and lied to them. I thought probably their own staff stole the passes for their friends that's why they had limited quantity! Very rude and ruthless, cut throat establishment. Quote

"keybox have sent out rumors"??? What kind of notice giving is this by a commercial establishment? This has nothing to do with how many other gay saunas are around. Put yourself in the position of a visitor to Singapore who wants to enjoy its gay scene, sees the Keybox website, checks the date, the advertised events and thinks "this is just what I look forward to". Then makes preparations for the evening to visit Keybox, totally unsuspecting that the place is gone. When he gets there, they have vanished without a trace! I don't know if you visit other countries, go to Bangkok, Taipei, KL or wherever. Want to spend a few days of good time. Look at the websites to see what is there. Choose an attractive gay place to visit. Make plans and get there... only to find that the place is gone and the website said is a fraud. What a stupid way for the Keybox owners to earn bad will !! I remember looking for a sporting outlet in a shopping mall as directed by its website and upon reaching, realised the store has been taken over by another biz.
