I visited KakiKu recently, and this is the update on that sauna.

 

It sells itself as a Japanese Onsen concept but I do not think many patrons understand it.  Patrons are provided with a towel and a fundoshi like garment, and I have seen patrons enter the hot water jacuzzi pool wearing that, as opposed to being totally naked as one would in Japan.

 

The entrance fee was RM40, and besides the hot water jacuzzi pool, there is also a steam room, dry sauna, and a dark maze.  There are a couple of sitting areas and a movie room as well.  

 

On Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, the lower floor dark room maze opens at about 7.00 pm.  Although there are no signs specifying so, that lower floor is deemed a naked area.  Yes, I had fun there.

When I was there, the clientele was predominantly Chinese, a range of ages but many are about 30-50 year age range. 

 

Body type - mostly average - I did not see any few beautifully sculpt bodies but there were quite a few nice, naturally manly bodies.

I forgot to mention - I overheard the owner (I think) telling some patrons in the hot water jacuzzi pool not to "play in there, play in the room" or something to that effect.  Please note, and act accordingly.

I was in 52 Forest over the weekend and I noticed quite a few larger sized patrons there.   52 Forest is also easily accessible by from the Titiwangsa MRT station and is fed by 4 MRT/LRT lines, so it would be convenient for those who do not have access to private transport.

 

The weekend entrance fee was RM27 and the listed opening hours are from 1.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

 

Do note 52 Forest is closed on Mondays.
