Personally I've been to Alexander a couple of times and found the facilities adequate..of course the crowd is a mix of everything.. quite happening during those times I was there... They have free drinks, cakes, biscuits and instant noodles too.

Went to hutong sauna on a Monday night.. in my 3hrs inside.. there are soooo many people. 95% of them are either gym fit or slim fit. Mostly 20's to 30's.. 100% all Asian.. but I believe most of them are locals.

 

Don't venture into the darkest corridor.. you'll be groped involuntarily.. I made that mistake and squeeze myself out of the situation.

Alexander Sauna is no more.  Outside the Alexander door is a sign that said, "We have moved" and it referred to a sauna by the name of Arena.

 

Arena is 24 hours, and its address is 2F, Wing Hing Mansion, 16, Granville Circuit, Tsim Sha Tsui.

 

Directions given is as follows:

 

"(Tsim Sha Tsui) MTR Exit B2, next to Park Hotel."

 

Park Hotel is along Cameron Road, which is the road you will see when you emeerge from exit B2.  Walk practically to the end of Cameron Road, and on your left will be Park Hotel.  Arena is more like behind Park Hotel.

 

Facilities in Arena - steam room, jacuzzi, dark room with some cubicles, very similar to Alexander.  It feels smaller than Alexander though.  When I arrived a bit after 9 pm on a Wednesday evening, it was quiet.  Entrance fee was HKD180.

mostly young crowd and think they are supermodel

Was there on Christmas and Christmas Eve. Both nights the crowds are good.

 

Will surely go back whenever I am in Hong Kong.

Hi Apparently I heard they are not checking on body types. Anyone can go lol but the crowd is still good perhaps the good reputation of the place is still there and not many want to be rejected ... Most of the bodies are decent. Much better than Cruise Club I dare say .... the number of slim fit bodies are more. But then again, could be Xmas and Xmas eve

Quick review of Central Escalator Sauna

Crowd: late 20's to young daddies, 5 Chinese, 2 Caucasion/Latin? I was there quite late as according to the person behind the counter. He told me to come again early next time at around 5pm. (Seriously??? So early??? No need to work???)

Facilities: 5/10 

Cleanliness: 5/10, wet spots near shower area. 

 

Time: about 7.30pm and left at around 9.00pm

 

Location description: Look for the 7-11 store while on Gage St. Face it and the staircase is to the left beside it. Look out for the "Yellow Door Kitchen" signage. It is on the 2nd floor. Ring the doorbell and they will open the door for you. Immediately going in, you will see the counter. They will give you a key to access your locker. Facing the counter, the lockers are right behind you, located in the walkway, do not be shy as you strip down for all to see (if you are shy, saunas may not be for you). Next to the locker (South area) is a dressing area, toilet, open shower, steam room (you will need to walk thru the open shower), cubicles. Along the corridor to the other side (North area), are the bar, tv room, open shower and sauna.

Overall the place is about 2000 sq/ft

 

Facilities: 

Needs an update and some facelift. The cubicle doors are of different types and mismatched. There are some cubicles that are just shower curtains for those wanting showers of different kind (hint: not water)

 

Showers: there are 2 open showers, each has about 4 shower heads to comfortably fit 4 people (or 8 heads lol). ok heating and does the job delivering water over bodies.

Steam room: smallish but personal. Like a small sedan car, it fits 4 people comfortably OR it can fit 8 people, with skin on skin contact (dont ask how I know that). Heat was ok. I was in there for about 20 mins per session

Sauna: As big as the steam room. Bright enough to count your money AND give change

TV room: peeked in. Contains a small sofa and a lazyboy? Playing western porn

Cubicles: There are various levels of brightness. Choose the brighter one for your sexy times needs and also to check the mat

Safety: Condoms provided in the cubicles. 

Overall: a lot of places one can hide although the brightness means that you are easy to find. Explore the nooks and crannies. I only realised that there was a toilet AS I WAS LEAVING!!! Yes, I took a piss in the open shower (because the other guy wanted it)

 

So some of you guys may ask why I went there instead of other more happening places? Because this place claims to have been here for a long time and has historic significance. It is indeed old and there is an old nostalgic feel to it. Kind of like going back to my grandparents village, but in a good way.
