Was told the Paya Lebar FF they step up on catching guys doing things in the steamroom,  so do be careful ya. And the shower also not conducive for fun.

It's a matter of time other clubs have to step up catching guys having fun. Those cruisers are so obvious. Loitering outside cubicles, loitering in the changing room for hours. And some guys join the gym just to use the steamroom to cruise coz you don't see them anywhere else except the changing room. Do you guys think people don't notice? Even my str8 friends can tell there are some creepy characters in the changing room. If you wanna cruise openly go to keybox for god sake.

But if the cruiser is one of their staff, how will they clamp down then?

Well, hope more checkins will deter these cruisers from continuing their membership.  Some of them will really make you uncomfortable…

He knows there’s hanky panky going on. Otherwise, cleaner will do cleaning when there are less people using the toilet, certainly not during lunch hour.

I do not think it is olympic-size.  You should have no issue with getting a lane in the morning and afternoon.  I have not visited FF Capital Tower in the evening, so can’t comment for the evening.  Hope that helps.

Check if there are swimming lessons going on before you go. Usually they won't take up every single lane but if you like a more peaceful swim best to avoid.

Discretion is the better part of valour. But it looks like some people need to learn this lesson, and soon.

 

Just less than a week ago, I encountered a certain individual in one of the sauna rooms in FF. He obviously doesn't work out at the gym, and was clearly cruising. I avoided any eye contact with him and made it clear from body language my lack of interest. As I was daydreaming and staring at the nonfunctional hourglass on the wall, I felt something tickle my nipple. It was him.

 

I stared at him in shock, then I immediately left. If I had been a straight guy, good luck to you brutha.

 

Always, always check for cues and signs of interest first before making ANY moves. And then relocate to a private space (e.g. shower stall) to do in private what should be kept to yourselves in a public gym like FF. Please don't turn the locker room into an unsafe space for gymmers, thanks.

Well said!  
To avoid these cruisers, I usually use the sauna or steamroom when there are either nobody, or max 1 other person in it!
