lovehandle
I told you i m "hot and excited" (but not yet to the extend of strip naked, kekekeke)when it comes to shrimps now , i felt addicted to some "shrimp pills ", maybe in two mths time, all my passion might just die down I feel like there should be a standard way of concocting the water, i saw that other ctries are also selling it in dept stores, the stores dont sell pets or such... By the way, a lady (the 1 and only woman whom i know that likes such stuff and photography) friend of mine dislike messy designs, she keeps nagging at me "less is more" as though i do not know that concept..She uses direct tap water and add them straight into her aquarium tank , they are hardy so they all survived.. Clickclock
Used to own a bottle from Krishaven 2 years ago, the thing is that the miniature ecosystem is just too self-sustaining that it has gotten to a point where I grew extremely bored with it. Kinda misplaced it at a dark corner of my table and I guess something might have upset the balance as the whole bottle became murky and the two shrimps disappeared. Still, i guess aquatic animals isnt my kinda thing, i'm more into ephiphytic and terrestrial plants. Quote I draw sexy men, visit http://www.toastwire.tumblr.com click on 'My Artworks'. Coolbriz
Yup that's the issue with "self-sustainable" system. There isn't much participation and involvement. I LOVE ORCHIDS! haha if you check out my instagram at bryanthegardener you can see the orchids i grow hehe. The thing about hobbies with low participation and involvement is that you don't feel needed and uh...involved. That's why i grow plants, i really like the idea of reap and sow, makes me feel more appreciatable about my own efforts I've got only two tillandsias, still figuring them out and yea, ferns aren't my thing, kinda boring and the spore bags creep me out. They have been around for at least 3 yrs since I bought the tank and I counted them once a while and still going strong it's almost maintenance free as you don't need to do anything to the tank. From what I understand, the shrimps feed on micro-algae in the water. The only setback is that I got to buy the "water" from crs haven to top up the tank as I simply do not want to risk adding normal water into the tank for fear of upsetting the system. i seem to have reached my max allowable quota for posting image here but I will post more images of the wonder shrimp tank once I find out how to work around with the image quota issue. To keep their shells healthy and free of damage, they will need calcium rich water that is free of copper and other metals. I trust you didn't put all your rainbow crabs, red thai crabs and vampire crabs together w the shrimps right? did you house them separately? the crabs are also house in a normal fish tank with full of water? No. They are being housed separately. Rainbow crab in one tank. Red Thai crab and vampire another tank. Shrimps another tank. My two species of crabs are "land" crabs and they are not able to survive in full water. Thus, they live in a dry setting.

Eco snails dig into bottom debris and scavenge for food too. Shrimps don't mess with snails and they sometimes will just rest on the snails' shells and that's about it. One of my "grandma" guppies just passed on a few days ago - she was the last remaining one from the first 6 that I started off with. Have since had many babies, more than I can count. Does anyone have any advice on how to grow a planted tank with a good grass coverage? I'm still struggling in that respect. Hi cycle25, must be sad to see your "grandma" guppy passed on.. Perhaps you could share with us what did you attempt to do with your tank (assuming planted?) to begin with so that we could discuss further? Quote Be cool, like a breeze... Not sure if these two photos are clear enough. Shirtless why is your ground/bedding/substrate is pink or my eyes playing trick on me?? Urs r red shrimp? No wonder coolbriz sugg 2 u to get dark/black soil instead as for the the snails, u can fb ask those sellers they will tell u exact price by the way, diff species/ diff grades will vary the price of shrimps that s why my area and your crs is sellg at tt price Lfs (local fish stores) prices shdnt vary drastically. Also try to stick to your usu lfs cos if they recog u for long, they will offer u discounts or u ask for it, dont jump here n there unless v necessary good tht it s land crab hence wont need big tank! Gd for those who hve space constraint to get this type mine died the following day was land too, i gave it w little water but no dry area n it died!!!! Take a photo of your crab/crayfish setup, pls Ons is one nite stand, cool briz but pls ignore such topic 12 hours ago, Shirtless boy said: Any ideas on what's the costs of the Eco snail?
