I went to the peak yesterday and I was half way in the queue, waiting for the tram.

When the tram arrived and doors opened, every one just ran for it.

When I finally got on the tram, all the seats were taken.

However when I am out and about and I'm not sure about something.

The locals are really polite and helpful.

So, I have learnt that the locals are wonderful and the mainland tourists, well... not so good.

Well, everyone inside Soda is wearing a towel.

So I have no idea where they come from.

Age wise, early 20's to 60's

Today I visited Stanley Beach seeing as it was a lovely day.

You can catch the number 6, 6a or 6x bus from the exchange square bus depot across the road from the Central station. It's a nice scenic ride from the hussle and bussle of Hong Kong.

Weekdays also alot. From my conversations with them, many are from shenzhen or guangzhou working in blue collar jobs in hk. In my opinion, just usual prcs lor u see in sg n like most prc, they like to crowd, gather together n talk.

of course there are some others who are tourist from china n those are the better looking ones

Didn't know they are working in HK. Thought majority are there for their weekend getaways and use Hutong as their hotel. Anyway don't be surprised to see a PRC 'village' in Hutong especially on Saturdays:) And those hunky locals seem to appear more on Fridays and Sundays.

Have always patronize HT as I like the gym-fit crowds there. Tried Big Top sauna nearby once before but the crowd is disappointing. Would like to try the following saunas but wonder whether their crowd is as good as HT?

MyWay sauna (actually been there once in the early 2010s but seems like middle-aged guys are not welcome there)

Soda sauna

I visited Soda again for the 2nd time.

Sunday afternoon around 1pm, not too busy.

Then around 3pm it started to get packed again.

Age range, 20's to 60's.

It is a 24 hour sauna so I think some of the prc sleep here.

I could hear some snoring even though it's in the afternoon.

Went to Hutong last Saturday. Super crowded as they were having a swimming trunk party. After paying HKD260 to the boss, he asked a staff member to give me a free entry voucher to be used for the following day.

So I went to Hutong again on Sunday. While at the counter, I passed the free entry voucher to the boss and he asked for my ID for verification purpose. I passed him my passport and he took a long time to look at it. When he returned me my passport, he put it far away from me and threw the locker key on the counter top.

I had been patronizing this sauna since 2010s (when it was called Double). But after this incident I will explore other saunas the next time I am in HK.

Had been to My Way and Big Top once in the early 2010s. Looks like My Way crowd is younger. Big Top crowd is a mix of young and matured.

Anyone who has been to these 2 saunas recently? Any experience to share?

Wait i don't get it. what was the issue?

Not sure if this is the right thread to post this in. Moderators feel free to delete/move as needed.

Hello! I’m looking for massage exchange partners in Hong Kong. I live near CUHK / Science Park. I have a massage table, oil, and a place to host (depending on my schedule). I’m not professionally trained, but friends say I’m quite good at it.

I enjoy both giving and receiving massage, totally for free. Can be undraped/nude if you are ok. My preference is for guys under 50, but other things (body type, hair/no hair, race, orientation, language) don’t matter as long as we can communicate. You don’t need to be professional (I'm not either), but it would be good if you have at least some experience. I am often free on weekdays, even during the day (I work remotely).

I'm not here for sex/BJ, body-to-body, or a relationship/romance. The main focus is a good (possibly sensual) massage for both of us.

If you’re interested, please DM me. Thanks!

The HuTong boss gave me a free pass, but when I tried to use it, he didn’t seem keen on honoring it. At the counter, he checked my passport for verification but spent way too long scrutinizing my details. His attitude just felt rude and disrespectful.

tall slim chi in early 20s here. Any idea which sauna places are the best to explore and not too expensive? First-timer too, anything to be careful of? TIA

Keep a look out for tinea after you've been to the sauna.

Anti-fungal cream will come in handy for in-between your toes.^_^

A notice in Hutong says that if we go in on Friday and Saturday consecutively and paid the full price of HKD 260 each night, we are entitled to get a free entry pass on Sunday. The staff will check our ID and write down our DOB on the free pass. When we enter on Sunday the staff will verify the DOB on the pass against our ID. (I believe this offer is valid till they remove the notice.)

In the first place I didn't ask for this free pass, it was the boss who initiated and asked me on that Saturday whether I wanted it. Had I known he was reluctant to honor the free pass I wouldn't have wanted the pass and let him/his staff looked through my passport.

I don't understand why people still keep going back to Hutong. Extremely bad attitude from the staff.  They are successful in promoting to Mainland tourists, so thats why these tourists keep patronising the place.

I am into gym-fit crowd that's why I patronize Hutong whenever I visit Hong Kong.

From my own experience the hunky ones in HT are mainly Hongkongers and I understand they get discounted rates. Mainlanders form the bulk of the customer base especially on weekends but only a small percentage are hunky.

After this bad experience last July in HT, I tried Big Top sauna earlier this year but the crowd is disappointing.

I will consider going to Soda and My Way sauna the next time I go to Hong Kong. Hopefully the crowd there are comparable to HT.

Hutong is no longer open 24 hours?

According to info on Google Maps HuTong is opened daily from 1pm to 12midnight, except Sundays open till next morning 8am.

A bit odd...thought should be Fridays and/or Saturdays open till next morning.
