b. The Home-based Massage List (HML) collects together masseurs (Singapore) that are mentioned in this forum one time or another. We arrange them firstly by the "price they charge" and secondly by their name (alphabetical order). Would like to collect them together in one place for easy reference.

c. If you know more Good masseurs, do PM me or post them in this thread.

Minimally, we will need Name of masseur, Place, Rates and Contact. If there is a Field Report, that will be excellent.

I called at appointed time, after arriving at chinatown, so as to getthe address. he did not answer my call Called many times later.. still no answer. Then he smsed me 1/2 hour later to give some stupid excuse. Totally unprofessional. A complete waste of time travelling all the way there. I then proceeded to one of the spas nearby.

I tried Ethan a while back and I found him to be both reliable and professional. He even reminded me about my appointment a few hours before the agreed time. Best of all is his massage skills. He combines both swedish and thai methods and although I didn't feel that he was exerting brute strength, he succeeded in making my aching shoulders and back feel good again. In fact, the experience was rather soothing. And that has seldom been achieved by other masseurs. His place is very neat and clean. But his rates aren't that cheap. If I remember it correctly it was something between $60 and $80. My brain old liow, cannot recall. I guess one has to pay for quality.

Thanks guys for the advise, will think twice before calling. Used to go to Chris (Chinatown) but recently called and SMS , he replied but didn't call back to confirm. Think he has problem getting places for massage . Aiyo why so difficult to get a good massage in Singapore ?? ha ...

Pertaining to your questions:

Can I also request for another query? That is the size of the masseur.

For example -

very muscular / defined / fat / stocky or freshy / average / lean or slim / skinny.

This is so that we know who is going to work on us. I think most of us will rather some one of our type/taste work on us be they fat or skinny. This would make the massage experience more enjoyable even with happy ending or not.

I think that in certain spas they use quality oils. I know that waterspa uses a brain from thailand which is quite expensive.

I also know that Man's Retreat and Male Therapist use good quality oils. It is the home based ones that are questionable - not all la but some are.
