Buffet Makan @ Shogun Club @ 6pm

Was there, they started serving the food on time today (unlike the last two times, once was late by more than one hour, sometime after CNY which I waited from 7 pm to 8 pm and I was bearing the hunger before I went to another party). Food was ok though they food came at about 4pm so it was already cold. But I must say that the owner put in an effort to attract the crowd back from TMC. Lets give him some support. Its costly to provide food and give away coupon for one free entry. But make sure you keep to the schedule for the buffet as you advertise it. Customer are very unforgiving in general.

I also overheard the owner discussing with a few regular about why the light get dimmer in the orgy room. Apparently there are differences in feedback from customer for different preferences. As an operator, its not so difficult to know. I know the answer. But I wont tell you here because I gave you feedbacks twice in email. Its very unkind for you not even responding to me. I ever heard from a corporate image consultant : Please always take customers feedback, even complaints positively and seriously. When an customer give you a feedback (or complaint) he is willing to continue his support for you as long as you are willing to improve. Customers that dont come back would never feedback to you.

In summary, Shogun is still not a bad place, let support them for the effort to turnaround though there are areas where they can improve to attract all the customers back

Personally, i feel, Shogun has got a lot to offer than most of the sauna operators found locally. Though it does lack grossly in some areas, for example a steam room that ran out of steam, toilets with busted doors and toilet seats, towels that smells like essence of cum. On the positive side, it is one of the rare places that are operational 24 hours, its big and spacious with lots of room for exploration. Service wise, the staff are cordial enough though sometimes they may get a little cranky but we do have to cut them some slack as the work that they do are pretty menial and demanding, especially when they have customers who asks for too much when they pay hardly enough. Basically, Shogun has got immense potential of being a very successful player in its field but that takes time, money and lots of support.

I am happy with Shogun and have had good interactions there on three times I have been. As I like groups it is ideal for that . Only thing I would improve is the towels. The one I was given was old and had holes in.

Shogun is the only one with a big bed like many Japanese Sauna.

But I have pointed out to the owner that the curtain is a hazard but was disappointed that he just ignored.

As to whether the place is too bright or too dark, its not very hard to know the answer. Talk to customers that have good view. I konw the answer but when I told him about the curtain, why didnt he ask me ?

It seems the management has not taken any serious consideration with keeping things hygienic and sanitized for the benefits of its patrons. Linen seriously could not be the most costly problem to rectify, i just fail to comprehend why improvement in that area has been treated with gross indifference? Then there is the issue of food being served to the patrons being prepared by the untrained staff, i have seen grimy, dirty plates within the same stack of supposedly clean plates at start of the buffet table, i dont even wish to comment on how the food was handled. I lost all my appetite even before i could work out any. I mean if you are taking the pains and effort to serve food cant you put a little bit more work just to keep things clean? Perhaps Shogun is tempting fate and vying to be the next venue with the explosion of deaths from food poisoning? I could really rant on and on about the rest of the stuff that just simply didnt work for me, however, i believe feedback is taken ever so lightly. I doubt i will ever step foot within its premises ever again.

(1) There were very few people. About 8-10 when I arrived at 5.00 pm, about 6-8 when I left at 6.30. But there are two rare visitors, one Japanese tourist, one Chinese national worker in Singapore.

Please listen to what others say. Many have given you a lot of 'good' feedbacks how to improve but I see nothing has been done. We can only do that much to support you but you have to do good deed for yourself inorder to survive in this very competitive Sauna Market in Singapore.

By the way, while its not nicely put in some of the complaitns, complaints are always meant to be good. If a customer complains, it means they still would give you a chance to come back again.
